It was graduation week for all the 4th years in Beacon Academy and to celebrate a prom night was organized by none other than Weiss Schnee. However for Blake Belladonna she wasn't too happy as the date of the prom night was the exact same date her ex boyfriend Sun Wu Kong broke her heart. When her childhood friend Y/n heard what happened he rushed over to comfort her which was harder than he thought given Blake's stubborn personality so our tale begins with our hero comforting his long time crush.
Blake: Just leave me alone Y/n!! PLEASE!!!
Y/n: I can't Blake I can't leave you alone like last time! Not when you nearly took your own life after what happened with Adam. Please Blake I care about you!
Blake: NO ONE CARES ABOUT ME I EEEK!!!
Y/n hugged her tightly which made her breath hitch and her heart skip a beat. She knew it was wrong to think like this after her break up with Sun but she knew he was right about everything and hugged him back bursting into tears and bawling her eyes out. So he carried her to her room. Blake wrapped her legs and arms around him while he made sure to not touch her hips as best he could. Blake noticed his hesitation and spoke up.
Blake: Its okay... I trust you.
Y/n: You sure?
Blake nodded softly knowing he wouldn't hurt her and he put his hands on her hips to cradle her safely while carrying her to her room. As she held on to him she leaned her head into the crook of his neck and heard his heart beat it was soothing her soul and started to fall asleep in his arms.
Y/n: Its okay kitten. Your gonna be okay.
She murmured hearing that nickname and held on tighter.
Blake: Don't leave me. Please please don't leave me.
He heard her murmuring and stroked her head which caused her to purr a little. Y/n had to stifle a squeal at how cute she was being like a kitten. After a bit of walking Y/n arrived at her dorm room and opened to door only to find Yang and Weiss inside.
Yang: Y/n?? What happened to Blake?
Y/n: Shhh shes sleeping. Help me get her comfy. Weiss tuck her in.
They both nodded and helped her get into bed while Y/n stepped out to let them dress Blake in privacy. Then they came out and closed the door softly and looked at Y/n looking for an explanation.
Yang: What happened to her?
Weiss: Yea spill it.
Y/n: Okay before both start grilling me. She was having one of her panic attacks again and I managed to talk her down girls.
Yang: Damn it... she really is in pain because of that monkey bastard.
Y/n: I know its none of my business but?? Did Blake tell exactly what happened when they broke up?
Weiss: Y/n I know your her best friend but... maybe now isnt the time. Look we get you wanna help but at least give Blake a chance to process all of this okay?
Y/n: (sighs) Your right Weiss but if she does have another panic attack call me and I will drop everything.
Yang: You really do care don't ya?
Y/n: It's more than friendship Blondie. I love Blake.
Both of them gasped and tried not to scream. So they went to the balcony where the stairs were and both questioned him.
Yang: What are you serious!!
Weiss: Why didn't you say anything sooner you dolt!
Y/n: Okay first of all keep your voices down. And secondly I was going to ask her out during the Vytal Festival but that fucker Sun got to her first. Now I know I'm making excuses but girls he did it to spite me.
