The whole day passed in a bit of chaos mixed with blessedness as Abhimanyu finally left the Rajput estate after having many childish arguments with Trayaksh and Arpita was shifted to a lavish room nearby Aarunya's bedroom. Trayaksh had already arranged her sarees and all the items of necessities without any delay. He didn't want his mother in law to face any slightest difficulty. On the other hand Aarunya was content seeing her Arpita holding little Aranya and slept peacefully with her mother and the baby, hugging them the whole night tightly.
The Rajput mansion was unexpectedly shining with brightness and happy squeals the next day and Trayaskh couldn’t keep the smile from his lips as he watched Arpita gently pick little Aranya up, bouncing him up and down in her arms. She made silly faces, blowing raspberries on the baby’s face and tickling them. The baby would squeal and laugh, their little arms reaching out to try and grab her face. She spoke to the baby in a sing-song voice, talking to him about anything and everything as he happily babbled back. Heels, happy to see the scene in front of him. Though he felt a protective instinct driving inside him towards his Mother-in-Law. Yesterday, Azad had told him that his father in law and mother live separately. He didn't question much after Aarunya said the same words that Azad had told her to speak which made Azad’s work easier and everything fell back to its place.
Aaruntas remained silent as Trayaksh rested his chin against the top of Aarunya's head, his arms holding her closer to him. He was happy and content at that moment. Just seeing his mother-in-law treat the baby with so much affection was filling his chest with a warm comfort.
“Mrs. Agarwal, I hope you're comfortable here. If something bothers you then please let me and Aarunya know within any hesitation. This is your home more than it's ours.”.... Trayaksh spoke softly as he tried his best to make Arpita warm and cozy at the place.
“Everything here is homely and pleasant except one.”.... Trayaksh frowned a bit after hearing his mother in law's words.
What could bother his mother in law after all?
