Trayaksh's mother, Gargi Rajput entered the house after a long absence, her presence immediately shocking and unwelcome.
Everyone in the house froze, surprised by her sudden appearance.
The air in the room felt tense and awkward, as if a storm had just entered and brought a wave of negative energy with it.
Along with Gargi there was Taranya Rajput, Trayaksh's sister and the only princess of Rajput empire. Taranya passed Trayaksh and Aarunya a small smile but didn't talk much as she looked at the grim expression on her mother's face.
Gargi looked at Aarunya with distaste and her eyes narrowing in disgust as she faced Trayaksh who had no emotion in his face. He didn't know whether he was shocked or unhappy to see his mother, the woman who never even liked him calling her mom.
But then Trayaksh's eyes fell over Aarunya's mother and a warmth hit his chest as he looked at the woman who was truly a mother figure to him.
The servants carried Gargi and Taranya's bags in their rooms and with that Gargi left inside without even looking back anybody while Tranaya followed Gargi inside.
Trayaksh cleared his throat as he thanked Abhimanyu and his sister for joining his family.
Abhimanyu and Adira told the famimy that they're leaving for their home as they sensed the tension in air. They didn't wanted to make Aarunya and her mother more awkward and with that the brother and sister hugged both Aarunya and Arpita with affection and left the Rajput estate.
Trayaksh too turned to leave inside his room as old memories of his mother's treatment flashed inside his mind. But the man suddenly stilled as he heard the soft voice of Adira from behind.
Aarunya looked at Taranya surprised. It was the first time she was clearly seeing her sister in law. Taranya was already sent to abroad the time Trayaksh's father had passed away that is why both Aarunya and Taranya didn't know anything about each other but Aarunya could see the way Taranya's eyes softened as she looked at little Aranya who was happily babbling in his mother's arms.
"Mujhse Rakhi nahi bandwaoge, bhaiya?" Taranya spoke, her words filled with longing and affection for her elder brother.
Even Trayaksh's eyes brimmed with tears as she slowly nodded and forwarded his wrist towards Taranya who did his tilak and tied the pious Rakhi in his hand.
In a moment the brother hugged his sister after years, both their eyes filled with unshed tears as their children memories flashed infront of their eyes.
Azad had already informed Gargi and Taranya about Trayaksh's memory loss that's why Taranya didn't spoke anything which could make her brother suspicious. She herself was concerned for Trayaksh. Her twin brother was in a coma while her elder brother had lost his past memories. It was all like a nightmare for the twenty three old.
