The drive to beach was as silent as a dead sea as Trayaksh stole glances at Aarunya like a hormone driven love sick teenager sitting alongside his crush and she kept looking outside of the car window with a little Aranya on her arms who she had covered with thick clothes, not wanting for any chance to have her precious baby bird catch cold.
The tiny creature was snuggled in his mothers chest who held him protectively as Trayaksh gazed at her with admiration in his onyx orbs.
She was a natural mother. With her maternal instincts and the way she treated their child with affection, it made his heart swell with fondness.
He couldn't help but to think about his own childhood. Trayaksh had heard how his own mother even denied to feed him milk. A mother can never see her child starving but his mother did. It was his father, Taksh Rajput who would cradle him day to night, taking care of a little Trayaksh's all needs, pampering the little guy, showering him with the love which a little Trayaksh couldn't get from his own mother ever.
Coming out of his reverie he Stopped the car with a screech as his eyes gazed at Aarunya and the tiny babbling creature in her arms, both in their own world with Aarunya cooeing the baby and her little sweetheart giggling in his mother's protective embrace.
Looking at them, Trayaksh's lips curled into a gentle smile as he went outside the car, opening the door for his wife who was holding their son feebly in her embrace. Her eyes roved on the surroundings, taking in the beautiful scenery inside her orbs, tasting the bare essence of freedom after whole long years.
It felt like a dream. A wait of eternity and here she was, outside where the gentle air softly brushed against her cheeks. Tears trickled out of her hazel honey eyes as she took the scenery in.
She was here on a Beach.
Unbelievable!
Pinching her wrist she again looked in front of her, taking in the surroundings as if she's capturing each inch the surrounding inside herself.
For Aarunya it was a dream come true. She wanted to visit beaches from her childhood. It was one of her bucket list dreams which she wanted to fulfill.
As a kid , little Aarunya had many dreams, her notebooks filled with to do bucket lists in future and her eyes sparked with fairytales.
