It's been a few months since everything has happened. Logan was living with Wade in an apartment, still trying to adapt to this new life. The room is dimly lit and smells faintly of cigars and whiskey. Logan is sitting on the edge of the bed, shirtless, his muscles tense, staring at the floor. He's breathing heavily and lifted his hand to wipe sweat off his face before taking the open bottle of whiskey from the nightstand and drinking from it. The moment is interrupted by Wade coming through the door.
"Knock knock!" He yells, grinning obnoxiously. "Hey honey badger. Haven't seen you at all today, figured I'd drop in to see what's going on."
Logan glances up at Wade, narrowing his eyes. "Get out, Wade." He growled under his breath.
Ignoring his warning, Wade closes the door and saunters into the room. He was wearing one of his silly T-shirts - this one said 'I'M WITH STABBY' with an arrow pointing to the side. "Awe come on, Logie. Don't be like that. Don't tell me you're in one of your moods again." He frowned playfully as he glanced at the bottles on the nightstand. "Well, that's okay. I'm here to help."
Logan clenched his jaw, trying to keep his temper in check. "Wade, I am telling you to go away. You don't want to do this."
"Oh, I definitely do. You're all broody and sweaty. More than usual. And I'm here to be your emotional support Deadpool." He falls on the bed beside Logan, bumping him lightly with his elbow and Logan tenses up, scooting back against the headboard.
"This isn't a joke, Wade. I need to be alone right now." Logan hissed. He was breathing heavily, his skin hot and flushed.
Wade took a moment to consider Logan's words and couldn't help break into an obnoxious grin. "Awe, you're like a cat in heat. Should I go get kitty a bowl of milk or..."
He was cut off by Logan unsheathing his claws with a metallic snikt. "I said get out." He growled, his patients wearing thin.
Wade doesn't flinch, instead leans closer, peering at Logan's claws. "Woah there wolvie, you're all claws and no purrs tonight. But seriously, what are you gonna do? Cut me? You know I'll just grow back." He smirked slightly. "Don't threaten me with a good time."
Logan takes a deep breath, trying to calm himself, and closes his eyes, shaking his head. He spoke again, softer this time. "This isn't just about you Wade. I just need to be alone. I can't have you here. Not now." His fingers twitched and he sheathed his claws, rubbing his knee as he moved further back against the headboard. He was rigid and trembling slightly.
"Hey I get it. You're all pent up and emotional right now. Probably feeling more than you're okay with." Wade waved his hand dismissively and scooted closer. "Maybe you don't need to be alone right now." His hand brushes against Logan's knee. "Maybe me being here is just what you need."
"Wade.." Logan growled under his breath, growing more tense if that was possible. There was no more space for him to move any further away. He swallows thickly, his eyes raking over Wade's form. "What the hell are you doing.."
"I'm just saying..." He leaned in more. "Maybe what you need isn't space. Maybe what you need is someone who can handle you when you're like this." His hand moves up Logan's thigh. "Someone who isn't afraid to get a little... wild."
Logan's eyes narrow, his breath catching slightly in response to Wade's words and his hand on his leg. He can feel the heat rising in his chest, burning in his veins. Not just from the tension of the situation, but from the pure primal urges threatening to consume him. "You're playing with fire Wade." He muttered gruffly.
"You think I don't know that?" Wade responded quietly. His hand moves up to Logan's arm, tracing the rough contours of his muscles. "Come on Logan. I've seen you at your worst and I'm still here. You should take that as a sign."
