chapter 30

        Bella pov

I was shaking my head from what just happened. I was even squeezing my eyes shut on that fucking one.

I finally opened my eyes and looked around and it was morning already and I looked down and Edward was sleeping with his arms around my waist and his head on my lap and I snapped my head up and looked around.

There were trees down around us but it quit raining.

I gently woke up Edward. He snapped opened his eyes and turned his head and looked up at me.

"Sorry about that! Lighting came out of nowhere!" He told me.

I busted out laughing at him. "So the storm did that out there?" I asked him.

"Did what?" He asked me and sat up and looked. "Fuck!" He busted out fucking laughing and so did I.

"So that wasn't a fucking dream and I put a shield up around us!" Edward said laughing.

"You put a different type of fucking shield up?" I asked him still laughing. "Yeah I totally fucking did!" He told me. "I forgot I even had one!" He told me.

"I'm your different type of shield baby! That's how I can protect you and well Becca." He told me.

I just sat there and blinked my eyes at him. I even quit laughing.

I actually passed the fuck out. I finally came too and Edward was driving again and my head was laying on his lap this time.

Edward started running his fingers through my hair to soothe me because I wasn't ready to talk yet and he knew it because I also had a nightmare of that night and what happened just before I woke up.

All I could do is stare again. But when he stopped and took it away I reached out blindly and took his hand and held it close to me with both hands as tight as I could like my life depended on it this time.

But I never stop just staring either.

       Edward pov

For some reason this time Bella would not let me go! Even though she wasn't really there.

I finally got a safe place where we could camp and she would just sit in the jeep with her knees pulled up to her chest and she was terrified out of her mind and her eyes were following me everywhere I went.

I was finally done and I was impacted into with Bella wrapping her body completely around me and I wrapped my arms around her.

"I got you your safe baby!" I told her. I sat her down and she stayed by my side the whole time I cooked and when I was done she sat between my legs and leaned back and stared eating and I just did the same.

I was able to clean up everything and she stayed by the fire while I did and I grabbed us each a beer and her whiskey and when I sat back down I handed them both to her and she took a drink of her whiskey first which I knew she would and I took it from her and took a drink for myself and handed it back to her.

I rolled my eyes when I realized one of the poachers stayed behind from the others.

"You're just as stupid as the rest of them!" I told him and I took a drink of my beer.

"What do I have to do for you guys to prove to you that she's mine and to not fucking touch her! Oh maybe this!" Just then Bella turned her head and at the same fucking time we bit each other and another powerful shockwave went through the both of us as we marked our territory on each other!
