chapter 31

       Bella pov

Then I heard gun shots again but the wolves started backing me up towards the jeep and the guy didn't have very good aim at all.

Once at the jeep I crawled underneath of it and made my way to the other side and snuck into the passenger seat door and locked all the doors.

I climbed in back next to Edward and I just started kissing him so I could distract him like last time but I was also shaking in so much terrifying fear.

I pulled away and he snapped his eyes open and locked eyes with me not saying a word to me.

It was like he was trying to figure out if it was really me or something.

The guy stop shooting think God! I hurried and covered Edward mouth with my hand and put a finger to my lips because I could hear the guy walking around the jeep.

Edward hurried and covered us with the sleeping bag and the three dogs hid.

I showed Edward what happened and he just held me closer to him.

The guy was trying to get into the jeep but couldn't and we stayed underneath the sleeping bag staying hidden.

I was still fucking shaking. Then Edward realized I was soak and wet.

I wouldn't let him go though. I had a death grip on him. There was no way in fucking hell I was letting go of Edward.

My life depended on it right now. It was a fucking long night.

Edward finally got up and changed his clothes and started driving while I finally fell asleep.

When I woke up I noticed it was still raining outside and the jeep was still moving.

I changed my clothes underneath the sleeping bag and climbed over the seats and sat down.

"You feel any better baby?" He asked me. "A little!" I told him.

"I don't understand why I'm so fucking scared all of a fucking sudden like this and I can't just fight back and defend myself but since that night though I haven't been able too!" I told him.

"I feel weak against them. Like I am not strong enough to fight them off like I thought I could. I'm feel defeated in some way and every time that thing has ahold of you it only gets worse for me!" I explained to him.

"And the weird part is I don't even know how I got outside of the Jeep. It's almost like that thing has something to do with it trying to get me out of the picture anyway it can!" I told him.

"But it can't touch me or pick me up!" I say to him. "Are you fucking trying to say someone took you out of the Jeep without us knowing?" Edward asked me.

"He did say he knew you weren't here! So that would mean he had to been in the jeep and that thing made it where you were invisible to him but to me." I explained to him.

"Every time this happens they tell me they know your gone! When you're not!" I told him.

"So there's either another piece of you out there we don't know about which I'm beginning to think so. If they keep believing you leave and that thing always thinks it has a chance with you and for some reason it thinks you're human!" I told him.

I knew he was letting me get it out. "I have a theory on that part though. You're shield blocks out who you really are." I told him.

"That's very possible and another piece of my soul being out there I think you might be right baby. I  think it would be two more pieces of my soul. I don't remember some of my childhood and when I was a baby still and why I don't come back here anymore." He told me.
