Hi everyone.

I know a few months back I had mentioned that I will be rewriting this story. Unfortunately plans had fell through and I had lost inspiration. However, I am happy to announce the new version of Evermore is coming.

It will be called Fortnight.

I think it was only fitting for me to name the new book that as it is a Taylor Swift song, plus the Dead Poets are mentioned in the music video. I am extremely excited to post this as I have been slowly planning this new story. I have gotten some frequently asked questions though

Number one: Is the old version of Evermore going to stay here on Wattpad?

The answer? Maybe. I haven't decided.

A part of me wants to. Just because this story is truly a first draft. This story needed to get out there so I published it without really developing the story, the characters and the plot (even though most of it is the movie. But we're mainly talking about act two.)

Over the past two years since I finished this story, I have thought about what I would have done differently and what I would have added, whether that new characters, scenes, plots and so much more. That's the main reason on why I plan on rewriting Evermore. It's my second draft.

However, most of you have voiced your concerns about the book being removed as you guys love the original. Over the past two years, you guys have showed your love on this story and I am so here grateful this story touched you and how this movie touched you like it touched me all those years ago. Which is why I am not sure if I want to unpublish it from Wattpad.

If I do end up unpublishing it and leaving the new version, I do MAYBE plan on posting the original version on another website. But again. I am not sure what I'm going to do just yet.

Number two: Are things going to stay the same?

This is a great question. Obviously, Rebetta is my favorite main character I have ever created in my head. That chick lives with me every damn day. However, I do look back on this story and think about how much of her story isn't told. How much of the other characters story I would have told differently. There's some things now as I look back on the first draft of Evermore and wish I would have changed.

So to answer the question. Yes and no?

I will leave it at that.

Number three: Why are you doing this?

Like I have mentioned. This is truly a rough/first draft. I wrote majority of Evermore in one month during November 2021 during Nanowrimo. Most of it was me trying to complete a writing goal of mine. There's so much more I want to add. New characters I want to discover, other characters I want to explore.

Since finishing Evermore, I have had a hard time saying goodbye to this story. I haven't written anything since then. Because it always goes back to this book. After talking to my friends and boyfriend it is only right to do that

And last but not least,

Am I going to end Neil in the new version?

I! Don't! Know! Yet! I don't want to! You'll have to wait and see when the new version comes out.

I know I have mentioned this before but this needs to get done. If anyone has any questions or suggestions, please let me know in the comments and stay tuned!

Sincerely,

AGENTSOFCARTER
