Killua had no idea what was happening. All he knew is that one moment he was lounging on a couch with Alluka, and the next he had hard dirt beneath his feet and surrounded by large robots. He didn't have time to think at first, as one of the large hunks of metal took a swing at him with an angry whirr. Killua thought fast, dodging to the side before letting out an aggressive burst of electricity right against its protective metal shell. What in the hell? There was shouting and sounds of battle all around Killua, and he thought he heard the sound of cannonfire? He continued to duck under and around attacks from his inhuman attackers, glancing around frantically as he tried to get his bearings on the situation. Am I in a stadium? There's a bunch of other teens. And they're running. Maybe I should follow them.
He quickly disengaged and picked up the speed, running in the same direction. He quickly outpaced them one by one. His lips creased into a frown as he realized all of the teens around him were wearing the same outfit. What even is this? He thought, head spinning. And more importantly how do I get back home? There seemed to be a field of pillars coming up ahead, with ropes connecting each of them. Killua leapt effortlessly from pillar to pillar, barely having to use his Nen. He only really needed it for a bit of extra height. He passed someone who seemed to be sliding along one of the ropes using ice. The male with two toned hair glanced sideways at him, then his eyes widened in shock as Killua sped past.
"HAH? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU LOSER?"
Killua ignored the angry shout, which was followed by several explosions. Wherever the hell it was, Nen sure did seem to be a lot more common. Soon enough, he reached a minefield. Although the mines were buried very haphazardly, and clearly visible. This won't be that hard. Killua thought, activating a small 5 foot bubble of En around him. Due to that, he practically glided across the minefield as if it was just normal ground. Being able to sense each mine the second it got within a 5 foot radius. Killua shoved his hands into his pockets as he ran, eyes zeroing on what seemed like an exit.
He heard more explosions and shouting from behind him, but ignored it, he was so close to the end of whatever this was. Maybe an obstacle course? It kind of seemed like one. After Killua cleared the minefield with ease, he entered the main part of the stadium, only to be greeted with a roar of applause and cheering. "AND WE HAVE A CHAMPION!!!!" Killua stood there for a moment, very much bewildered. There were so many people cheering for him, and he had no idea what the hell he even did or where he was. As he was standing there, suddenly a woman who almost looked like some kind of porn star quickly walked over to him, a whip in her hands.
Killua stood his ground, making it clear he wasn't threatened. "Hey kid, you aren't supposed to be here." She said, in a low tone, although keeping a pleasant smile on her face. Killua placed his hands behind his head as he heard more of the teenagers start to emerge. "Yeah I know. Where exactly...Am I?" he asked, glancing around once more before turning his eyes back on the woman. "You're at U.A, in the middle of the sports festival. What do you mean you don't-" She shook her head, and grabbed his arm. "Just come with me. You can't be here." Killua yanked his hand back with a huff. "I can walk on my own." He said sassily, as he followed her to the edge of the stadium and through a hallway.
"Also I've never heard of U.A or a sports festival." he shot a look at her. "And did you just come from an adult film set or something? The woman gave him an odd look, but didn't answer that. She led him into a room full of people in very....interesting outfits. And a mouse wearing a suit. He glanced from right to left, an awkward silence filling the room. Killua decided to break it. "Is anyone gonna tell me where the hell I am?" All 5 heads swiveled to the mouse, who was sitting on a stool. Killua found it impossible to take this interaction seriously. The mouse suddenly started speaking, although Killua had seen stranger. "You're at U.A Highschool! One of the largest events in the entirety of Japan is happening at the moment.. And I'm afraid you're trespassing."
Killua shrugged, not understanding a word of that besides the trespassing part. "Sorry, I guess. I have no idea what happened. I was with my sister, then suddenly I was getting attacked by robots. I'll just go, I guess." Alluka's probably pretty worried. "Sadly that isn't an option. You can't just leave, the entire world just saw you win first place in the obstacle race." The mouse said, in a pleasant voice. Although his tone was still relatively firm. One of the adults with bandages covering him frowned at the mouse. "You can't seriously be considering....letting him compete, Nezu." Eh? The mouse, Nezu, shook his head. "I'm afraid It's necessary. If the media finds out we were infiltrated again so soon after the attack on the U.S.J, they'll lose complete faith in us."
Most of what was just said completely sailed over Killua's head, but one thing caught his attention for sure. "Oh hell no, I need to get back to my sister." He said firmly. "Tell them I got disqualified or something, it's an easy fix." The mouse let at a deep sigh. "Well you have two options. Be taken into custody for trespassing, get interrogated, and possibly arrested." Killua rolled his eyes when Nezu said that, this was so stupid. "Or-" The mouse got to his feet on the stool putting his paws in the air. "Compete in the sports festival! And then afterwards go in for interrogation, then you can be on your way." Killua let out a groan, rubbing his temples in irritation. He really didn't want to get arrested, but he also didn't particularly feel like participating in whatever this sports festival thing was.
Wait, what about my phone- He quickly shoved a hand into his pocket and pulled out his beetle phone. He'd had the same one for ages, and he'd even bought Alluka one too. He quickly dialed her number, tapping his foot impatiently. Instantly, the phone picked up "Big brother where'd you go!?" Alluka wailed into his ear. Killua let out a sigh of relief. "Shhh, it's ok Alluka. Big brother's gonna be back soon. I'm ok." There was a sniffle from the other end, poor Alluka wasn't used to being without him. "Ok..." Killua sighed. "Just...call Leorio, or Gon. Ok? And tell them what happened." He glanced at the mouse, now that Alluka wasn't in danger he supposed he could have a little fun.
"Alright, fine. I'll do it."
