I'll be posting who I had for the heroes and villains at the end in case you're curious who I had in mind for them all, but truthfully, each character could be whoever you wanted it to be. "They're late ... again."

"I know but try to cut them some slack."

"But I'm hungry." It came out as a whine, Beomgyu's lips pouting slightly as he turned towards his boyfriend.

"More like hangry." Yeonjun watched Beomgyu's face sour slightly, eyes turning into slits. He couldn't help but laugh, Beomgyu rolling his eyes in response before smiling faintly.

They were currently in the dining hall, the area bustling with other college students who were here for the lunch rush. Beomgyu and Yeonjun had arrived quite a bit earlier, sitting in a corner away from most of the crowd as they waited for Soobin, Taehyun, and Kai to arrive.

Yeonjun quickly glanced at his phone, noticing that the three men were now close to twenty minutes late. The three were usually running a bit late but usually not by this much. Yeonjun made sure he didn't miss a text, only seeing his home screen picture of him and Beomgyu at the beach together. Yeonjun was smiling at the camera with his arm around Beomgyu's waist. His eyes were closed into crescents, since Beomgyu was jumping in the photo with his fist pounding onto the top of Yeonjun's head. Beomgyu had a mischievous smile, Yeonjun unable to do anything but smile at the photo before putting his phone back in his pocket.

Beomgyu looked like he was about to speak up when he noticed the three familiar figures entering the dining hall. Soobin and Taehyun were both wearing t-shirts and shorts, a sign of the warmer weather outside. Kai was between them, wearing shorts with a light blue sweatshirt. Anyone could see the thickness of the fabric from far away, Beomgyu also noticing the hood of the sweatshirt covering Kai's face entirely.

Beomgyu and Yeonjun gave each other a questioning and concerned look before turning their attention back to the three men, watching as they now approached the corner where the other two were already sitting. Beomgyu and Yeonjun greeted the other three as they finally reached the table. Kai sat down, while Taehyun and Soobin remained standing.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting. We were already running late, but then we had to convince this one to come with."

Soobin nodded his head towards Kai, the younger looking as if he was trying to curl into the hood of his sweatshirt. Yeonjun took another look at the man, barely able to see his face. Kai looked at Yeonjun and Beomgyu nervously. With the new angle, Yeonjun was able to see a large black eye on the left side of the younger's face. Yeonjun's eyes widened in shock, causing Beomgyu to look up and see the same injury.

"What happened!?" Beomgyu's voice was full of concern, wondering if it was as painful as it looked.

Taehyun looked around before leaning in and whispering quietly. "He got punched in the face."
