Planning on Love

Quiet the catch.

"So you saying he's basically perfect?" Heather said and Alyssa nodded.
   
"I even scoped him out." Alyssa said vouching for Heaven.

"Its not a big deal. Were just two weeks in." Heaven said and they waved her off.

"Are we talking wedding date material?" Heather asked and Alyssa nodded.

"Like husband material. Did she not tell you that when we first met him he paid for us to go out to eat, without him there." Alyssa added and everyone turned to Heaven curious about her new beau.

"Look he seems like a nice guy-" She started and Stevie laughed.

"Wait a minute I know this phase." Stevie teased as they all looked.

"She wants to give him some but is scared." Stevie taunted her and they all chuckled because it was obvious it was true.

"Look I feel like sex jinx's me." Heaven admitted.

She would never tell the group but after she slept with Kenan she found out he was in a whole relationship and things got weird. Heaven recalled sleeping with Lou and a week later she met his fiance. To be honest things with Dontae were good and the last thing she wanted to do was ruin things.

"Girl bye, that nigga either lying before or after. Might as well get a nut from it." Stevie said and both she and Alyssa high-fived.

"Ma'am you don't need to high-five her, you can't even sit at the singles table." Heather reminded Alyssa.

Out of the quartet half of them were in stable relationships, that half did not contain Heaven or Stevie. Heather had the longest ongoing relationship hence the engagement. The couple had been together for nearly 6 years. As for Alyssa she and her boyfriend had been together for a little over two and things with them seemed good. Stevie always said she lived to erratically for a stable relationship and Heaven was still trying to figure out love.

"Exactly." Heaven reminded her.

"Look I say love like it's your last." Stevie said and for the first time the other woman in the group agreed.

"What if this is the guy for you and here you are wasting your first few weeks being boring." Stevie said.

"When I find my man ima love him downnn." She added and Heather grabbed her drink.

"We said a light brunch." Heather joked before passing her back her drink.

"But she is right." Heather added turning to Heaven.

"Just cause you met one loser don't let it ruin it for everyone else. You are amazing and deserve someone just as amazing as you." Heather said and all her friends nodded.

"Aww you guys." She stuck out her arms and hugged them from across the table.

"Stop being over dramatic." Stevie tugged away laughing.

"Well, I do have a date tonight." She said and they looked at er.

"So Alyssa says the dates are over the top. Like 50 shades or don't be a menace?" Heather joked and they laughed.

"Well, first date was the museum of course. I mean if we can call it that. I told him I preferred to remain business partners but when I arrived for the contract he had lunch waiting with flowers." Heaven said and Alyssa nodded.

"Came back to her office full of flowers. I mean we have enough." Alyssa joked.

"The second date was at a park." Heaven added.

"He took her on a horse ride." Alyssa said giving two thumbs up and Heather and Steve looked impressed.

"Third date-" Heave started.
