Planning on Love

Not good with apologies.

"I cannot fucking believe this guy." Alyssa said referring to Dontae, pissed.

Heaven wished she had opted to tell the ladies at once because although Stevie waited, Alyssa did not and then she told Heather who seemingly was just as upset.

"And you were trying to wait to tell us." Heather said looking from Heaven to Stevie.

Heather and Alyssa were both sure Stevie knew first.

"And I know your ass is hiding something too but we're working on the woman who is dating a married man." Heather said and Alyssa nudged her.

"What? I mean I know it's not your fault." Heather said and Alyssa nodded.

"We just-" Alyssa started but stopped putting a smile on her face.

It was a cue for the rest of them as they turned.

"Hey." Ella said approaching and the women all plastered smiles on their faces.

"Heyy." They all said in unison

"You all know damn well that means you all are hiding something, what are yawl hiding?" She asked suspiciously.

Ella may have been Heather's older sister but she had been all of their older sister in some way. She had always been there to support them and teach them the way of the world. She bought them their first thongs, push-up bras, and for Stevie her first pack of tampons and cigarettes.

"Nothing talking about how Stevie and Alyssa skipped out on all the work last night." Heaven lied.

"Well Stevie, TJ has been asking about you." Ella said and Heaven looked at Stevie.

Ella chuckled before she leaned in and hugged each one of the girls.

"I'm really glad you all made it for my baby, thank you." She said hugging them all at once.

"We wouldn't have missed it for the world." Heaven said and the others nodded.

"But I have to go back to work." Heaven said and Alyssa looked at her.

"Do you?" Ella said and Heaven smiled.

Alyssa and Heather looked concerned.

"It's fine. Im fine." Heaven said.

It had been a few days since Dontae and his revelation and the ladies just finding out about it made them worry.

It was obvious as Ella scanned each one of them.

Ella stopped and looked at Heaven suspiciously.

"I love you! Bye!" Heaven said not wanting to retell her story, let alone at a baby shower.

Heaven rushed out and headed to her car.

"Whew." She let out.

As she did she noticed a car blocking her in.

She blinked a few times and it was obvious that it was Mars blocking her in.

"If you can move your car." She said going to her driver's side door and not bothering to look at him.

"Heaven wait-" He said getting out.

"You're blocking the street and me. I have to go." She said and he grabbed her door.

"To work." She blinked pulling her door back.

"I'm sorry." He said quickly and she stopped.

"I just got my own shit going on, you were right I was being an asshole and it had nothing to do with you." He said and she nodded.
