GANGA'S POV

"Mom, wish me luck. I am going to impress your future daughter-in-laws," I said into the phone as she laughed.

"Is she good?" She asked, and I couldn't help but squeak.

"She is the head chef; of course she is the best," I said as mom chuckled.

"Be careful; always prepare for the worst, okay?" She said this as I nodded.

"Hmm, now I have to go. Byee," I said, cutting the call as I hopped towards the door.

I walked out of my apartment and pressed the elevator. The door closed as it moved down a floor, and I wiggled excitedly.

I have prepared a whole speech and also applied my favourite perfume.

The door opened as an older woman entered.

"Good morning," she wished, standing beside me.

"Good morningggg," I blurted as she laughed.

"What's the reason for the glow?" She asked as I giggled.

"I am going to confess to my crush," I said, feeling fuzzy as she smiled.

"Young love is always special."

"I know right,"

"Make sure to be bold; don't confess like a little girl; do it like a woman," she advised as I felt my shoulder raise.

"Of course, I am super excited," I said as she giggled.

"All the best; make sure to snatch your lover right away!" She said it as I saluted.

"Yes, Ma'am!"

The door opened as I sprinted towards my car. I turned as I waved a small goodbye and turned towards my car.

I didn't waste a second before I played some upbeat songs, not letting my adrenaline slow down.

It felt like the world was more colourful today. It didn't take long before I reached my destination.

I walked inside the building, humming a song as I saw the girl in the reception walk towards her.

"Good morning, gorgeous," I said as she smiled, looking at me.

"Good morning. Is today something special?" She asked as I woke up.

"Psst, come here," I said as she leaned over the counter.

"I am going to confess to my crush," I whispered as she gasped, covering her mouth as she slouched forward, grabbing my hand as she squeaked, making me squeak in excitement.

"Who is it, who is it?" She asked as I shook my head.

"I can't tell youuuu," I said shyly as she giggled.

"All the best; make sure to tell me if it goes well," she said as I nodded.

"Byeee, I have to go!" I said as she nodded, waving as I made my way towards the elevator.

As I was about to come, the door closed. I pouted sadly, but then it opened.

Oo, lucky!

I looked and was surprised to find James.

I entered as he pressed the button. I tried to stay calm as he looked at nothing particular.

I coughed lightly before I said.

"Good morning!" I said, smiling as he nodded.

"Morning," he said. I felt a bit awkward as I sighed, moving around as I waited for the minute to pass.
