chapter 6

logans pov

I had Devan stay at my place that night. I would do anything to get him out of that fucking toxic house, I'd burn it down of I could-

"Baby? You ok?" My sweet mate asked in concern, snapping me out of my thoughts. We were currently watching more One Piece, Devan wanted me to watch more so I'm doing it. "Yes I'm fine love, just thinking." He tilted his head like a cute puppy, "what were you thinking about?"

You.

"You my love. How I want you out of that house at all times. How I want to take you away and never come back to this stupid town. How I want to spend the rest of our lives together." My loves eyes started to tear up, but I know they weren't sad tears.

I smiled at him gently and held his cheek in my hand, "I know I didn't ask officially, but, would you do the honor of being my lovely boyfriend?" He was speechless, but his eyes held so much emotion.

"SAY YES!" I heard my sisters scream through the door, making me chuckle at them. Devan was snapped out of it, nodding rapidly, "yes of course I'll be your boyfriend!" I couldn't stop the smile on my face, I've never been so happy in my entire life.

I pulled him close and kissed his soft lips, just enjoying the feeling of us being together, officially. My little cara mia.

devans pov

Logan officially asked me to be his boyfriend last night and I couldn't be happier! I've been waiting for him to ask me officially and now it finally happened. I'm so happy!

School was going normal, thankfully it was lunch time. Logan bought me my lunch like he does everyday, pulling me into his arms. "You guys are so cute!" Alice squealed as she smiled brightly at us. Logan chuckled in that deep ass voice of his, "I know we're cute, and this little cutie is mine forever." I blushed at his words, I would love to be Logan's for forever.

Feeling holes being burned into my head, I turned and saw my sister glaring at me from her table. I poked Logan's arm who immediately stopped his conversation with Emmett, "yes my love?" He asked sweetly. Ah I love him.

"Bella keeps glaring at me and I don't like it." I quietly whined to him. My vampire turned towards Bella and glared back at her hatefully, thankfully making her look away. "Thank you baby." I said lovingly, kissing his cheek. Edward looked over at me and rolled his eyes, "what, so are you just going to keep using my brother to do your biding? You can take care of yourself, he doesn't need to do anything for you."

Excuse me?

Before I could say anything, Logan moved his glare onto his brother, "what did you say? Wait I don't care what you said because it was stupid. Just because your blood bag is giving you issues, doesn't mean you can get snarky with my mate. I've ripped your arms off once and I'll gladly do it again."

Holy shit that was hot.

Am I turned on? Yup.

Edward just scoffed and walked towards Bella, I see her drop an apple and he kicked it up with his foot to catch it. Ew your shoe has been on the floor.

Bella said she was going to the beach with her friends, and I really wanted to go with Logan but he said he can't go "onto their territory" whatever that means. But I'm not going to push and I know he'll tell me when it's the right time. So instead of the beach, he took me to a bookstore to pick out whatever I wanted, then to a cute cafe which had the best cheesecake!

I would die for cheesecake. Especially oreo cheesecake.

We ended up spending hours out, and it was so much fun. I even got to tell off some girls that were staring at my man. It was so exhilarating to be able to say what I want to say. Logan was so proud of me for speaking up, he gave me a bunch of kisses. But I did tell him I wanted to go to the beach soon, which he couldn't argue with.

bella's pov

After having talked with Jacob on the beach about the legends and why the Cullens didn't come to that area, I was just so curious. Why? What are the Cullens?

Sitting on my bed, I pulled out my laptop and went to Google, looking up 'Quileute Legends' in hope of trying to find something out. It pisses me off that my little brother knows more about them than me. That he's dating the one that should've been with me. It's not fair, I deserve what he has and more!

But it's fine, once I figure out their big secret, then they'll have no choice but to have me around. They'll see that I'm better. And then Logan will realize what he's missing.

Seeing a bunch of results for the legends, I click on 'Book results for Quileutes Legends' and clicked the Thunderbird and Whale site. I saw it was by the Port Angeles Harbor, so I wrote down the adress and planned to go when I could.

The next day at school, it was actually sunny for once. Everyone was wearing tank tops and basking in the sun. But I couldn't find the Cullens anywhere. "He's not here. Whenever the weathers nice, the Cullen's disappear." Jessica told me as she was sitting on the table outside.

Why aren't they here?

"What, did they just ditch?" I asked, hoping to get more information out of her. "No, um, Dr. and Mrs. Cullen yank them out for like, hiking and camping and stuff. I tried that out on my parents, not even close." But I want them here. They have to be here. Logan has to be here.

Angela rushed over and talked about how she asked Eric to the prom and stuff, I didn't really care, all my thoughts were on the tall, menacing Cullen.

devan's pov

Prom was coming up, so I dragged Logan to tux shops around Port Angeles. I wanted us to match, and no matter how much I loved Alice, I didn't want to wear lilac. We walked by a dress store and saw my sister in there with two of her friends, Jessica and Angela.

"Ugh, she's in there. Come on baby, let's go to another store." Logan tired to drag me away but I wanted to say hi to Angela. She's always nice to me in art class and I just want to say hi to her. "But I want to say hi to Angela babe, just real quick. Please?" I begged with puppy eyes.

Logan couldn't resist them and caved in, "fine, you have two minutes. I just don't want you near Isabella for long ok baby?" I nodded happily and let go of Logan's hand, walking into the shop.

"Oh hi Devan! How have you been?" Angela asked happily as she pulled me into a hug. "I've been good! Logan and I are just tuxedo shopping for prom." I smiled thinking about us wearing matching tuxes.

"Wait, Logan Cullen is here?" Jessica asked excitedly, looking around for him. My eyes narrowed at her, "yeah, he's here, with ME." I pointed out towards the window, seeing my hubby scaring off some teen boys from looking in the shop. The sun wasn't fully out, as it just rained, but Logan was wearing a hat just incase.

"Well, we have to go back to shopping, but I'll see you at prom!" I was prepared to leave but Bella grabbed my arm in a tight grip, "Devan and I are actually gonna go to this bookstore. Um, meet you guys at the restaurant?" I'm going where now?

Before we could even leave the foot of the door, Bella's hand was removed from my arm. I guess she forgot I brought Logan with me. I looked up at him to see my hubby glaring daggers at my sister, who blushed and played with her hair shyly.

"What were you doing with him?" Logan asked as he brought me into his arms. "I-I just wanted to bring Devan with me to the bookstore. It's right around the corner." Bella stuttered as she stared at the floor.

"No, Devan isn't going anywhere with you. We already have plans, stay away from him." And with that, Logan softly dragged me to his jeep that was around the corner, opening the door for me and helping me in. Such a gentleman!

"Come on baby, let's go to the next store. This street is polluted with trash."

(bella is a psycho bitch is all i'm saying, but devan and logan are so cute together <3. i'll try to get the next update out before my trip next week)
