"So what else do we have to do today?" I asked Erica

"Nothing." She replied

"What you mean? This morning you said we had a lot to do today." I reminded her

"Oh yeah. Change of plans, all that is moved to tomorrow."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Mr. Brown requested that I clear your schedule for the rest of the day." She explained

I raised an eyebrow "Since when does Mr. Brown sign your checks?"

"He said you all had an appointment for the baby today. I was just trying to be helpful."

"Well thanks, but next time if you don't hear it from me directly, don't listen to it."

"Got it." She nodded "Uh, well the car he sent to pick you up is already outside. Did you want me to send it away?"

"No, I guess I'll go ahead since my schedule is already free." I grabbed my purse "You can go ahead and go home for the day too."

"Really?" Her mood brightened

"Yeah. You deserve it."

"Thanks."

I grabbed my purse "No problem. See you tomorrow."

"Damn it ain't going nowhere." Chris watched me as I ate.

I squinted and flicked him off mid chew.

He set up a private rooftop lunch for us and I couldn't be more thankful because I was starving. Since he found out the baby is his, he's been so attentive. He's at every appointment asking every question possible, he's monitors what I eat, he's read almost every book on pregnancy to make sure the baby is healthy, he goes out of his way to make me happy, he talks to the baby and she kicks up a storm every time.
He's perfect.

We tried to do little outings in public, but there was way too much paparazzi and press in our faces, and I can't take all of that right now. So he's been doing little romantic gestures on the low to keep me and the baby comfortable.

I covered my mouth and spoke "Shut uuuup. This is the first real meal I've eaten today."

"That's why I cleared yo' schedule, you needed a break." He cut his steak
