Elijah's Estate

Everyone had gathered in the sitting room once they had rested and freshened up. They were getting ready to head back to the states because Rebekah had messaged Klaus updates concerning everything. Klaus pocketed his phone, "Rebekah had spied mother cursing Finn to be obedient. He was distancing himself from mother, then woke up her little puppet again. Time to deal with the wench."

Elijah hummed, "I agree. Are there any of you staying behind?" The group had noticed some were hesitant to leave. The hybrids approached Klaus to talk privately. They wanted to stay with the Medjai. Klaus was reluctant but agreed on the condition that if he called for them to return, they did without question. The hybrids were grateful to Klaus and the opportunity to serve the Medjai.

Omo watched from her seat on the sofa as the others organized everything for the trip home. She was jostled from her thoughts when Imhotep sat down next to her, "Princess?" Omo inched further into the sofa, creating a larger gap between the two. Imhotep rolled his eyes, "I'm not going to harm you." "I do not believe you. Hundreds died by your hands, and now you expect me to believe you won't harm another," Omo scowled at the High Priest. Any further conversing was disrupted by Kol squeezing himself between the two, pressed against Omo, "We are leaving soon." Kol addresses them both then faces Imhotep, "You will be watched closely. Any wrong moves and I will personally throw you out of our Jet. I highly doubt you'd survive falling 30,000 feet." Kol grasped Omo's hand and pulled her up with him and walked over to his siblings.

Evie, Rick, and Ardeth accompany them back to the states. Evie wants to help Omo to learn about the modern world, as well as keep an eye on Imhotep. The High Priest knew he would be a fool to go against these creatures. Sure, he has magic on his side, and his immortality. However, he has been defeated by mere mortals...twice. These Originals are not to be trifled with. Imhotep will lose.

The flight back to the states went smoothly, bar Omorose's complication of still coughing up scorpions. Only now, the small creatures are fully gold in color and just as heavy. Bonnie, Kol, and even Imhotep have been trying to figure out how to stop this from occurring. Since the Scorpion King is dead, the link between Omo and he should have been severed. Imhotep theorizes, "Omorose was meant to die with the Scorpion King. She may have been born alongside Nefertiti, but she is not her true sister."

This was a shocking revelation. While this new information sunk in, Imhotep continued, "Omorose is the Scorpion King's child. His wife was spiteful, never wanting the union or the child. The unborn child was spelled out of her womb, and she took her own life. I only know this since I was Pharaoh Seti's High Priest for decades. I knew about Omorose since her conception. After her birth and when she was separated from her sister, I was able to examine her more closely. Using a bit of her blood I learned her history."

Elijah peers over to a sleeping Omorose, "What do you suggest we do? This cannot go on much longer." The suited original may appear poised but there is a simmering rage beneath the surface. His brothers don't bother to hide their anger. Before either brother could lash out Bonnie spoke up, "I thought it was due to Omo being bonded to Elijah, Klaus, and Kol but haven't solidified the bonding. She started coughing up the scorpions almost immediately after waking up in our time."

Imhotep thought about this, "It could be both. Omo may need to bond with at least one of the gentlemen. And I mean bond completely. As in her life force, not just a soul bond." "She would be immortal, and no longer bound to the Scorpion King in any way. Besides being his daughter," Evie stated.

Rick was puzzled by something, "Why was Omorose conceived so far into the future from her original birth? The Scorpion King was three thousand years before Omorose. Why Seti the first?" Imhotep shrugs, "The only who can answer that died after birthing Omorose. Seti's first wife practiced the black arts. Those grimoires of Omorose's were a gift from her mother. Something not even Seti knew about. If he did, the queen would have been exiled or burnt at the stake."

The rest of the flight was filled with small talk and very little planning. Nobody wanted to plot anything until Rebekah rejoined them and they were fully updated. Throughout the entire time they were gone Stefan, Damon, and Bonnie have been ignoring their phones when Elena or Caroline's names popped up. Unfortunately, they knew they would have to deal with them once they are back home.

Mikaelson Manor, Mystic Falls

The group was greeted by an exuberant Rebekah and a very docile Finn. The Original siblings and even the Salvatores could tell something was not with their eldest brother. And the Original witch was behind it. Rebekah spoke quietly, "Mother has been monitoring every bit of food and drink coming into the mansion. She has tried to replace your staff with humans she controls. I disposed of them but it's getting out of hand." Elijah pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed, "We'll deal with it sister. Anything else?" Rebekah scowled, "The doppelwhore keeps trying my patience. Demanding I tell her where the Salvatores are, as if I have them in my possession. I nearly tore her head off the last time she came at me if it wasn't for little Gilbert."

Damon snorted, "Little Gilbert deserves a vacation and a gift basket." Stefan rolled his eyes, "Damon. Be serious." "I am. That kid puts up with Elena more than any of us. If any of us deserve a vacation from this town, it's Jeremy Gilbert," Damon blurted honestly. Which surprised everyone not used to this side of Damon. "Well, once mother is dealt with, little Gilbert will be sent to wherever his heart desires," Klaus says as he heads inside the manor. Everyone follows him with the goal to plot the Original witch's final death...Hopefully.

AN: Short chapter. This story is not going to be much longer. I kind of lost motivation for it, but I am not going to abandon it.
