A Moment of Vulnerability

The sunlight filtering through the curtains cast a gentle glow across the room as Pon slowly woke up. His mind was still foggy, the events of the previous night leaving him feeling vulnerable and disoriented. He blinked a few times, trying to shake off the lingering remnants of sleep. The bed felt large and empty without the comforting presence of the Alpha who had held him so securely just hours before.

Pon shifted slightly, his senses immediately honing in on the scent that still clung to the sheets. It was Sailub's scent—strong, comforting, and unmistakably Alpha. The scent wrapped around Pon like a blanket, but it wasn't enough. He wanted—no, needed—to be enveloped in that scent again, to feel safe and protected in Sailub's arms.

As his senses sharpened, Pon noticed that the Alpha wasn't in the room. Panic stirred within him, a neediness he couldn't fully explain taking hold. His eyes landed on a shirt draped over a chair near the bed. Without thinking, Pon slipped out of bed, grabbed the shirt, and pulled it on over his head. The fabric was soft against his skin, and the scent of Sailub immediately calmed his racing heart.

The shirt hung loosely on Pon, reaching down to his thighs. He paired it with his boxers, the combination feeling oddly comforting. But even with the shirt, it wasn't enough. He needed to find Sailub.

Determined, Pon quietly slipped out of the bedroom, the oversized shirt swaying around him as he padded down the stairs in search of the Alpha. The house was large and unfamiliar, but Pon's instincts guided him, his senses tuned to the faint sounds and smells that would lead him to Sailub.

As Pon reached the kitchen, his eyes immediately found Sailub, standing at the counter with his back turned. Without hesitation, Pon made a beeline for the Alpha, his feet moving faster as the urge to be near Sailub grew overwhelming. He barely registered the presence of other people in the room—all that mattered was reaching Sailub.

Sailub, who had been focused on finishing up the breakfast, suddenly felt a small body crash into him from behind. He turned, surprised to find Pon clinging to him, his arms wrapped tightly around Sailub's waist. The shirt Pon wore—Sailub's shirt—hung loosely on his small frame, and the sight of it stirred something deep within the Alpha.

"Pon?" Sailub's voice was soft, filled with both surprise and concern as he gently placed a hand on Pon's back. "What are you doing?"

Pon didn't answer right away. He simply buried his face into Sailub's chest, inhaling deeply, as if trying to absorb as much of the Alpha's scent as possible. The fear and vulnerability from the night before still lingered in his mind, but here, in Sailub's arms, he felt safe—he felt whole.

Sailub's friends, who had been watching the scene unfold, exchanged knowing glances. Michael, in particular, noticed the subtle signs that Pon was in his Omega headspace—a state where the Omega's instincts were heightened, seeking comfort and protection from their Alpha.

Michael's sharp eyes took in every detail—the way Pon clung to Sailub, the shirt that clearly belonged to the Alpha, and the possessive glint in Sailub's eyes as he realized Pon was wearing it. It didn't take much to connect the dots. Pon, whether he fully realized it or not, was acting as if Sailub was his Alpha, seeking him out in his most vulnerable state.

Sailub, for his part, was struck by a mix of emotions. The sight of Pon in his shirt, so small and vulnerable, filled him with a fierce protectiveness. But there was also a deep, primal satisfaction in seeing his Omega so openly dependent on him, wrapped in his scent. The possessive side of Sailub surged forward, but he forced himself to remain calm, not wanting to startle Pon.

Nut, Pavel, and Ping watched the scene unfold, each of them silently acknowledging the bond that was forming between Sailub and Pon. Sailub, the terror of a CEO who rarely showed emotions, was now the source of comfort for an Omega who had been through so much. It was a side of Sailub they hadn't expected to see, but it made sense. Pon was special to Sailub in a way no one else was.
