Garfield's senses were razor-sharp as he stood near the entrance to Sailub's house, scanning the area for any signs of intrusion or threat. But when his phone buzzed with a notification, the danger he was monitoring came not from the outside but from the storm brewing in the media.

Quickly opening the alert, Garfield's eyes narrowed as he read the headline: "Thanapon Aiemkumchai: Scandal Erupts Over Alleged Affairs in the Industry!" The article was filled with malicious rumors, accusing Pon of using unsavory methods to advance his career. It was a calculated attack, designed to humiliate and ruin him even further.

Garfield knew the implications immediately—this was more than just a hit piece; it was a direct assault on Pon's character and everything he had worked for. Without hesitation, he dialed Sailub's number, but knowing that the Alpha was busy calming Pon, he quickly decided to relay the information to the others downstairs.

He descended the stairs with urgency, meeting the anxious faces of Pavel, Nut, Ping, Michael, Pooh, and Benz. Each of them sensed the severity of the situation before Garfield even spoke.

"There's been a new development," Garfield announced, his voice grave. "The media has picked up a nasty rumor about Pon. They're saying he's been sleeping with powerful people in the industry to get ahead."

The room erupted in a wave of outrage.

"What?" Pooh's voice cracked with disbelief, his face contorting with anger. He stepped forward, fists clenched at his sides, trembling with fury. "That's absolute garbage! How dare they spread such lies about him!"

Benz, usually calm and composed, felt a rare flash of rage surge through him. His protective instincts flared, knowing that these kinds of baseless accusations could destroy Pon's career and crush his spirit. "I swear, if I find out who's behind this, they're going to regret it. Pon doesn't deserve this—not after everything he's already been through."

Nut and Ping exchanged worried glances, Ping's face hardening as he absorbed the news. He had never liked people mistreating Omegas, and this was a step too far. "This is vile," Ping said, his voice low with controlled anger. "Pon is already dealing with so much. We need to shut this down, now."

Michael, though not as outwardly expressive as the others, felt a simmering anger beneath his calm exterior. He knew the power of the media, how quickly it could turn an innocent person's life upside down. But more than that, he was keenly aware of how this would affect Sailub. Seeing his friend in such a vulnerable state earlier had been shocking, and now this? The timing couldn't be worse.

"Garfield, we need to act quickly," Michael said, his voice steady but firm. "This could get out of hand fast. Do you have any idea who might be behind this?"

Garfield shook his head. "Not yet, but I'm on it. I'll start tracking down the sources of these rumors, see if we can find out who's responsible. In the meantime, we need to support Pon and make sure this doesn't escalate any further."

Pavel, who had been quietly fuming, finally spoke up. "We need to control the narrative. Get ahead of this before it spirals. If we can find out who's behind it, we can take legal action—or worse, depending on who it is."

"We'll have to tread carefully," Nut added, his voice laced with concern. "Pon's already fragile after what happened last night. This could push him over the edge."

Pooh's eyes softened with worry, thinking of Pon upstairs, still vulnerable and in his Omega headspace. The thought of his younger brother figure being hurt like this made his blood boil, but he also knew they had to be cautious in how they handled this.

"We can't let him face this alone," Pooh said firmly. "He needs to know we're all here for him, that we won't let these lies destroy him."

Garfield nodded in agreement, his mind already racing with strategies to contain the situation. "I'll make sure to inform Sailub as soon as he's available. But for now, we need to keep an eye on the media and be ready to counter any further attacks. And we need to keep Pon safe—physically and emotionally."
