Pablo told them to take a day off, pero nagpunta parin siya sa studio without telling anyone; he wanted to be alone. He wants to think things over and also to take the time to clean and rearrange stuff.
He came across their photo album, showing them as trainees, nung mga panahon na wala pa silang enough money to spend on things they need and want, those precious times na inaaral pa nila kung ano ang strengths and weaknesses nila, the younger them.
If he would think about it, ngayon mas close na sila as a group. Mas matatag na sila. But then he felt a pinch in his heart seeing the genuine smiles of Ken and Justin. Pagkatapos ng bangayan era nila, he realized how the two have helped one another to be their best versions. Still far from being perfect but they've grown so much.
He recalls the things he witnessed between the two over the past months. And he realized that he doesn't see the genuine smile anymore; he is aware kung gaano kahirap para sa dalawa na sundin siya.
He sat on the balcony, holding a cup of coffee. Hinayaan niya lang na nakapatay ang ilaw. He recalls the first talks he had with Justin. He saw a different version of him during those times; kung gaano ito nagmatigas, lagi din itong may sagot sa kung ano ang sasabihin niya, he witnessed how Justin protected Ken. Hindi lang aware si Ken, pero si Justin talaga ang unang nasaktan. He knows how hard it is for Justin to push Ken away. Sa mga pag-uusap nila, Justin would always think of Ken's feelings before his own.
And then there's Ken; he almost gave up na paghiwalayin muna ang dalawa because he saw how Ken is determined to keep what he and Justin have. Kaya nga ngayon, siya ang nagugulat sa mga ikinikilos ni Ken. But nothing escapes his sharp eyes. Lagi parin naman niya nahuhuling nakatingin at nagbabantay si Ken kay Justin.
He inhaled and exhaled deeply. Justin has the most gentle and calm personality among them, while Ken is strong and brave. Pablo chuckled. 'Who would have thought na magiging compatible sila? ' he thought. But he also thought that maybe their contrast in personalities makes them perfect for each other.
Ken is always soft and gentle for Justin; habang si Justin naman can be strong for Ken. And Justin is the only person who can make Ken do things he thought he couldn't. And Ken would always encourage Justin to take risks, to do things he doubted he could. They were just genuinely happy; there were no walls between them.
Unknown to Ken, when they were still trainees, people around them would say not-so-good things about him, lagi kasi itong nami-misinterpret sa quiet attitude niya, but Justin was always there to protect him, lagi niya itong pinagtatanggol. And he also remembered when Justin heard someone say that he's all visuals, yun lang siya. Ken was so mad that time. He looked after Justin, comforted him, and assured him na hindi totoo ang sinasabi ng mga tao tungkol sa kanya. He was one of the reasons kung bakit mas lalong naging confident si Justin.
He sipped his coffee when someone opened the door.
"Ay kabayo!" Josh was holding his chest. "Langya ka Pau! Ano ba! Bakit patay ang ilaw?! Bakit nandito ka? Akala ko ba rest day? Anong ginagawa mo dito?!" sunod-sunod na tanong nito.
"Wow. Ang poging kabayo ko naman," he said, rolling his eyes. "Eh, ikaw, anong ginagawa mo dito?"
Josh sat on the chair beside him and said, "Ewan ko din. Wala akong lakad eh, dito ako dinala ng mga paa ko."
