Everything around Harry seemed like a blur, swirling and teasing as he struggled to keep his eyes open. He couldn't bear it any longer. His ex had a captivating and comforting presence, despite the toxicity that surrounded him.
And as Harry closed his eyes, he drifted into a profound and peaceful slumber.
***
In the dimly lit Slytherin dormitories, five determined students strode purposefully, their eyes alight with curiosity and determination. Draco carefully cradled Harry in his arms as they made their way, the group eager to uncover the truth and share their findings.
Draco felt an overwhelming sense of guilt as he sat with Pansy, Blaise, Hermione, and Ron, while Harry rested peacefully with his head in Draco's lap. Draco gently stroked Harry's hair, his heart heavy with regret. When the others cleared their throats, Draco knew it was time to confess.
"I shouldn't have accused him, shouldn't have abandoned him like that. I hurt him so deeply and I want to do anything to make things right again. Astoria was never the truth, I don't know why I-" Draco's eyes glistened with unshed tears, his voice cracking, stopping him from saying anything more. As a tear rolled down Harry's face, he abruptly woke up.
Harry was filled with shock and anger as he exclaimed, "What the hell, guys! Why am I with this...this Malfoy?" He quickly rose to his feet, fear and confusion evident on his face as he moved closer to his friends.
Despite Hermione and Ron's attempts to explain the situation, Harry seemed unwilling to listen. Meanwhile, Draco also got to his feet, attempting to soothe Harry even as Harry slowly raised his wand.
"Harry, you have to listen to me," Draco urged, but Harry remained adamant.
Harry's tear-streaked face contorted as he pleaded, "No, stay away! You-you-!" In his distress, he pushed away Draco's attempt to comfort him.
Harry's voice shook with fear and anger as he spoke. 'I refuse to fall into your trap again! I don't love you!' he cried, his words choking through sobs.
Draco spoke with firmness, his eagerness to comfort Harry evident as every tear shed felt like a knife piercing his heart.
"Absolutely not!" exclaimed Harry.
"Harry, please?" Draco implored, his voice tinged with urgency.
Harry paused for a moment, then mustered a feeble "no."
"Scarhead?" Draco said with affection in his voice.
Harry moved with measured steps toward Draco, finding comfort in the warmth of his embrace. He nestled his head against Draco's chest, his fingers tracing gentle patterns on Draco's back. Draco's hands, simultaneously strong and tender, rubbed soothing circles on Harry's back, while Draco tenderly planted a kiss on Harry's forehead.
"I think it's time to leave," Pansy announced, and the others all nodded in agreement.
"Harry's words poured out, laden with venom: 'You are very stupid, pathetic, a monster, a devil, and really bad!'" Draco couldn't help but find Harry's behavior both childish and oddly endearing.
"Wow, I've really messed up. I've done some terrible things. I'm sorry, Harry," Draco said with a mix of sadness and relief.
"I don't care," Harry said petulantly, "I hate you."
Draco flashed a smile as he gazed at Harry. 'I love you, Harry. So much,' he said. Harry blushed and pouted, unsure how to respond.
