Prabhuselvan's POV :
We as in Gayathri and I went back inside and were greeted by our families and my friends.
"Ivlo neram ah renduperum enga poi irunthinga?" my amma asked
"Illa aunty, romba koottam ah irunthichi athaan ore idaththila nikka venamenu summa ponom." Gayathri said really lying about it.. how does she seriously come up with lies on the spot?
"Aah, sari maa, ellarum vanga kovilukku poi poojava paapom." Paravthy aunty said
"Sari vaanga." Gayathri said running behind her dad and grabbing his arm so which he just smiled and ruffled her head.
"Tch, appa." she whined and we all laughed
I was walking behind them when my friends stopped me
"Ennangada?" I asked
"Dei neenga renduperum unmailaye enna panninga? Ethachum silibishum panningala?" Karthik asked whispering
"Saavadichudven." I said
"Sari sorry da aana thayavu seithu engala ippothaikku engala mamanaarungala aakidatha." Arun and Shiva said laughing
"Anga enna sirippu?" Dushara asked
"Onnum illa, munnukku paaththu nadadi." I said
"Tch, ippo ethukku kovapadra?" Haashini asked turning around and glaring at me
"Pongadi." I said getting tired
Dushara and Haashini huffed. We went inside the temple and watched the pooja which was 2 hours long. We came out and queued up for the prasadam.
"Enna paa queue ivlo long ah irukku?" Gayathri asked her dad.
"Athu illa maa, ippo thaane pooja mudinjuthu athaan ellarum nerah prasadamkaha vanthuttanga. Itho konja neraththila kurainjudum." he said smiling and ruffling Gayathri's head
I just love the bond Gayathri and her dad have between each other. I remembered the boys that were messing with Gayathri earlier. I told my boys about it, it's best we deal with them now. I walked up to Sathaasivam aiyaa and told him about how a few boys from the pakkaththu ooru were misbehaving with girls from our ooru so I was going to make sure they get taken care off to which he agreed and I left my with friends.
Gayathri's POV:
We were in the queue for night prasadam and all of a sudden Prabhu came up to my dad and whispered something in his ear and left with all of his friends which was a bit weird but I didn't think much of it. Soon we got to the front of the queue and Prabhu was still not here. What is he doing that is taking him such a long time?
"Appa Prabhu enga paa, ivlo neram aachu aana innum kaanala?" I asked
"Konja neraththila vanthudvaaru maa. Nee saapdu." My dad said leading me to sit down on the floor and eat.
"Thanga paa." I said
"Aama yenga Prabhu enga?" my mum asked
"Oru velaya poi irukkaan vanthuduvaan." Arunachalam uncle said
