Gayathri's POV:
"Vanthutingala?" Vaidehi aunty asked
"Aa, vanga koyilukku archuna pannittu varuvom." my amma said signing for paati and thatha to come with them too.
"Gayathri, nee Prabhu Haashini Dushara kooda iru, naanga vanthuduvom." appa said
"Sari paa, neenga poittu vanga." I said
With that they all left.
"So anni, evlo naala ipdiye suththittu irukka poringa?" Dushara said
"Ethey anniya? Yaaru?" I asked
"Tch, ipdi drama podrathula use illa, anna ellathayum sollittaan." Haashini said with a teasing smile
"Athukkulla sollittiyaa?" I asked him
"Enna vera enna seiya sollura? Ithunga tholla thaanga mudiyala?!" he said putting his hands up in defense
"Dei machchan!" Arun anna called from a distance
"Ennada!" Prabhu asked
"Eii, thangachi maa! Epdi irukka?" he asked me
"Naan nalla irukken naa, neenga epdi irukkinga?" I asked smiling
"Naan nalla irukken. Sari Prabhu oru vela irukku nee thaan vanthu paakkanum." he said redirecting his attention to Prabhu
"Aa apdiya sari vaa. Gayathri, ivanga koodaye iru, naan konja neraththila vanthuduven." Prabhu told me before leaving
"Aa sari, nee poittu vaa." I said waving my hand at him.
"Aama anni unga kannula ethachum problem ah?" Dushara asked me
"Illaye, apdi onnum illa." I said checking my eyes.
"Illa antha kuranga epdi love panninga?" they asked laughing
"Purila?" I said confused
"Yenga annan romba thangamanavan. Aana avan responsible illa, padichchu mudichittan aana innum velaikku pohala." Haashini said
"Athukku ippo enna? Unga anna velaikku pohama irukkurathala enakku entha problemum illa. Ellarukkum vera vera responsibilities irukkum, ellarukkum velanu kidaikkathu thaane, avangazhukku eppo velaikku pohanumnu thonatho illa eppo velai kidaikkatho, appo thaan antha responsibility avangazhukku irukkum. Aana athukkalam unga annavukku responsibility illanu sollalaathu. There is a right time and right place for everyone." I said smiling
"Gayathri! Haashini! Dushara! Ingaya nikkuringa? Aama Prabhu thambi enga?" my amma asked
"Oru velaya poittaan. Konja neraththila vanthuduvannu sonnan. Enga ponnannu therila." Dushara said
"Sari vidangadi. Avan enna chinna pullaya tholanju porathukku? Varuvan thaane, vanga poi karakattaththa paapom." Arunachalam aiyaa said.
We all left to watch the dance and it was nice. It was over 30 mins, where was he? I decided to text him.
*On the phone messaging*
Me:
Prabhu engada irukka? Konja neraththila varannu sollittu pone, ara mani neraththukku mela aagiduchu.. engada irukka.
Prabhu❤️:
Seen
Me:
Paaththuttu oru response um podula.. engada irukka?
Prabhu❤️:
Thirumbi paaru maa.
I turned around and saw him standing right behind me in the crowd. He smiled and I smiled back.
"Engada poi iruntha?" I asked over all the sound
"Naalaikku annathaanam seiyrangala? Athaan antha velaiya poi irunthen. Vera onnum illa." he shouted over the crowd
"Oh, apdiya? Ellam mudinchutha?" I asked him again
"Mm, mudinchuthu." he said and I smiled turning back to look at all the dance.
Suddenly, I felt a hand creeping on my waist. I turned around to see it was Prabhu
"Tch, dei kaiya edu. Yarachum paaththudu poranga." I said trying to move his hand
"Athellam orutharum paakka maattanga." he said and I elbowed him in the ribs
"Ss, ah." he winced
"Pesama iru." I said
"Gayu maa, enna maa saththam?" paati asked
"A-ah onnum illa paati." I stuttered
"Inga sariyana koottam ah irukku, nee veetukku po maa. Naan un appa amma kitta sollren." paati said
"Veetu saavi ellam amma kitta thaan irukku. Veetu saavi illama veetukkulla pohalathu paati." I said
"Appo nee onnu pannu. Dushara, Haashini lam veeta thaan porangalam, nee venumna avanga koodaye poidu. Parvathi kitta sollidren." paati told me
"Paati-" I started
"Athaan enga kooda vaa nu sollrangala, vaanga ann- chi Gayathri." Dushara said
"Sari, varen. Vaanga povom." I said ready to leave
"Irunga pombula pullainga, irutta vera irukku, thaniya poha venam, thunaikku Prabhu thambiya kootikittu ponga maa." paati said
"Aa sari paati. Naanum kooda poren aprom naanga kelumburom." Prabhu said
"Sari paa, pathrama ponga." paati said
"Bye paati!" I said hugging her
With that we all left, Dushara and Haashini were walking in front and Prabhu and I were walking behind them.
"Enna pesama vara?" Prabhu asked me
"Onnum illa, konjam tired ah irukku avlo thaan." I said fidgetting with my dupatta
"Appo, enga veeta ponathum, poi thoongu." he said
"Illa paravala, amma appa piragu paatiyum thathavum vanthuduvanga." I asked
"Tch, unakku thookkam varuthunu sollra, thoongurathala enna irukku?
"Tch, paravala vidu." I said tiredly
"Yepaa theivangala, konjam seekram nadanthu vanga, thookkam varuthu." Haashini said
"Varom, munnakku paaththu nada, engayachum pole ah poi thalai idichukka pora." Prabhu said
"Poda, kuranga." Haashini said and I laughed
After about 15mins, we got to Prabhu's house.
"Sari moonu perum thoongunga." Prabhu said as he closed the front door behind him
"Illa paravala Prabhu." I said
"Tch, vanga anni, vanga thoonguvom." the twins said pulling with them into their room making Prabhu laugh.
They pulled me into a room and made me sleep in between them. Unga annana kattipidichukittu thoonga vendiyava naan, aana inga neenga enna kattipidichittu thoongaringale
Ellam en neram. Sari thoonguvom, ipdiye irunthu yosikkurathula piriyosanam illa.
