Leo(M) x Capricorn (M): Maybe not demon.
Capricorn.
I was standing at the outskirts of the forest. This is what I've waited for my whole life. When everyone else failed, I was the last resort. I didn't know what I was even after, the knights that chased this 'monster' never came back. From the massacre of people, it was obvious that whatever it was had claws and sharp teeth.
I took my first step into the dark forest. I practically grew up in these woods, so I knew them like the back of my hand. I stopped to catch my breath. I noticed claw marks on trees as I got closer to the center. My heart stopped. They were deep and bloody. They could easily cut through my arm. I followed the trail of fresh animal foot print and got to a certain point where I could practically smell the blood. At the center, I could see human parts scattered around: Head, arms, fingers, organs, the works. The trees around that area were splashed with human cranberry juice. This was obviously the creature marking its territory. I felt like throwing up. The sight wasn't for the sensitive. I started sweating and my heart was beating rapidly. I tried to calm my breathing. This wasn't a time to panic. I unveiled my sword and readied myself for whatever came at me. My sword shook in my hands. I took a deep breath but immediately halted.
About 7 feet behind me, I heard low growling. I slowly turned and was met with a gray wolf. I had slayed many wolves before this, but this one was way bigger than most of them. I held my sword tighter and waited for it to charge at me.
As it was about to, a long and eerie howl pierced the air. The wolf skidded to a stop, then turned around and ran away, whimpering like puppy.
I looked behind and saw a giant wolf; the biggest I've ever seen. It was standing on a huge rock. It had silver fur and fearful golden eyes. It slowly pranced towards me. Even though it didn't show any form of aggressiveness, I still charged at it. Before I knew it the wolf was gone and I stumbled to the ground. I quickly got on my feet and looked around for the wolf but it wasn't there anymore. In its place, was a man. Tall, broad shoulders, slim waist and skinny legs. He had purple hair, and pink lips. He was wearing a black turtle neck and black legging
"Is that how you want to thank you savior." He scoff before stuffing his hands into his pockets and shrugging. "Oh well, never doing that again." So this was the creature that tore 30% of the towns people to shreds and killed over 20 knights. I charged at his with my sword but he managed to dodge. Even though he had no weapon, he was fast on his feet. I couldn't give up. I would not let my kingdom down. The guy disappeared into the trees out of my reach. I kept my guard up and waited for him to pop out. When he did, He grabbed my sword and threw it away and pinned me to the ground. I tried to squirm away.
"Why are all you you knights the same?!" He yelled causing me to stop squirming and look at him.
"You knew the other knights?" I questioned. His brown eyes were wide and fuming. I noticed his shoulder was bleeding slightly.
"Of course, you guys always come into my forest, I save you from that wolf and then you proceed to try and kill me. I'm not the one that killed your citizens." He yelled, his fangs coming out. I sighed and looked directly at him.
"I apologize for trying to hurt you and I apologize on behalf of the knights that tried to hurt you previously." I said sincerely. He let me go and we both sat on the ground.
"What's your name?" He asked eyeing me suspiciously.
"Capricorn. And you?" I questioned before making serious eye contact. He had very nice eyes.
"Leo. Are you sick? Your face is really red." I touched my face. I didn't feel hot. Then I started to wonder how he saw my face. The only light around was the moon.
"How did you-"
"I have night vision." He smiled and I couldn't help but smile back. We stayed like that for a while not saying anything before a long howl interrupted us followed by a bloody scream and the smell of blood. Leo covered his nose before getting up.
"Maybe we could help each other."
