Elijah, Micah and Josiah ran through the maze, running across walls, and weaving through the turns, and they could feel the monster's loud and heavy footsteps chasing behind them.
They turned left as the maze changed again, and Micah, who was in the lead, tore through the closing walls. Josiah chased after him, getting through easily. Elijah struggled, turning to his side to fit easier as he made this way through the incoming walls as fast as he could. He reached the last wall, but it was already too close, and he wasn't going to make it out.
He accepted it, until a pink smoke surrounded his hand and a palm appeared from it. It grabbed his hand and pulled him away from the walls now almost crushing him, and throwing him onto Josiah, who caught him. Elijah stared at the place, where the pink smoke had, by now, disappeared.
His heart instantly began beating faster and louder, even more than it was when he was running, as the blue and pink bead bracelet he just saw fixed itself into his mind. The butterfly flashed in his vision and disappeared, making him straighten up.
"She's here." he breathed, making Josiah and Micah look at him confused. "Ella's here."
Josiah looked him pitifully. "No she isn't, Eli."
"Yeah, she- she is-, I-" He looked at his brothers, seeing them looking at him sorrowfully. "No, I didn't imagine it, she really was there."
"Okay." Micah said gently. "If she is, I'm sure we'll see her around. Let's go."

A tiny, light pink globe appeared in front of Elijah, instantly catching his attention. Michelle backed away from his arms as he began walking towards the globe, which drifted away from him. Noting that it seemed to be leading him somewhere, he began chasing after it, the others following.
He turned a corner and stopped when the globe disappeared. He turned, trying to catch sight of it again, when his eyes fell onto the broken beacon.

Shiloh bent down slowly to grab the necklace, making sure she didn't block Elijah's eyesight. Elijah glared at the scarecrow, his eyes watering as he widened them, shaking his head at shiloh, eyes still fixed resolutely on the scarecrow.
He blinked, looking away for a second, looking back immediately, but to his surprise, the scarecrow had not moved.
Shiloh picked up the necklace and walked past Elijah into the corridor, and Elijah glared at the scarecrow, his heart, once more, picking up it's pace as he backed away behind Shiloh, ready to run.

Shiloh tried to limp along the walls as fast as she could, before the closed, crushing her. A pink smoke appeared around her, and two arms grabbed her shoulders. She looked down, seeing a blue and pink-bead bracelet around one of the wrists and she relaxed. The next second she blinked, finding herself in front of some purple vines, the same kind that had trapped Judah. The monster they're encountered before appeared behind her, growling, and she stared at the vines defiantly, ignoring it's thudding footsteps and her instincts to duck. She she felt the monster reach her she ducked left out of it's way and ran across the corridor, smiling to herself knowing exactly who had her back.

Shiloh smiled as the scientist threatened her. A tiny, glowing pink orb appeared to the entrace of the weird room, making Shiloh's smile widen.
"A good scientist doesn't put himself first."
She heard the loud thudding footsteps she was now familiar with, and slowly backed out of the room, glaring green eyes set on the scientist.
A bandage wrapped itself around Shiloh's ankle, and the pink smoke appeared again as an eye, and it winked, making her giggle.
She limped back to her family, smiling at Elijah.
"You were right." She said. "She's here."
She smiled at him, knowing that though he was reluctant at first, he was now sure, that telling Shiloh about giving Ella the bracelet was a good idea.
