ATTACK ON TITAN -1

The reader is the mother of armin, her husband the wealthy principal of shingeki high. Armin is 10. 

█▓▒▒░░░Reader's perspective ░░░▒▒▓█

Since it was the last day of school before summer vacation begins, I decided to went over to Shingeki High which is owned by my husband. As I walked into the school, I noticed the classrooms were all empty, and that the hallway was quiet. All except for a few teachers here and there, there seemed to be no one. However, I knew armin was still here, he always returns back with his father.

the halls stood empty save for the janitor sweeping up the classroom down the hallway. "Good afternoon Mrs. Arlert" the janitor greeted me and I returned back the greeting with a polite smile"good afternoon to you too". 

Approaching the open office door I could faintly hear the sound of my son Armin and my husband  inside. I was a little confused when I picked up two new voices that I didn't recognize that seemed to be from other children. I knocked on the open door to get their attention.

As my husband opened the door, I stepped inside to see my son Armin with tear-stained eyes and a large bruise over his cheek. Concern washed over me as I immediately went to check on him. "what happened to armin?" I asked turning to my husband, knowing well Armin is just gonna cry instead of speaking. My husband spoke up answering, "Some kids were bullying him, but fortunately, Eren and Mikasa stepped in to stop it." I felt a mix of gratitude towards them for intervening, but still worry for armin's well-being. 

I glanced over at the two unfamiliar children standing there.I figured that they must be Eren, the boy with messy dark brown hair and expressive blue eyes, and Mikasa, the girl with shoulder-length straight black hair framing her cool demeanor and sharp black eyes. I turn to thank Eren and Mikasa and smiled "Thank you so much for helping Armin. He tends not to stand up for himself, and it's good to know someone had his back."Eren, with a proud smile, exclaims, "Of course, I'll help Armin whenever he needs it," His confident and protective demeanor shining through. "I was only there because eren was there" Mikasa replied blankly. 

Turning to Armin, I wrap my arms around him in a comforting hug and reassuringly spoke "it's alright now. I'm glad you have friends like eren and Mikasa. They can sure teach you to stand up for yourself" . Armin nodded sniffling. 

An idea came to mind, and I decided to invite them and their family over to our house tomorrow since it's the first day of summer. I spoke up to Eren and Mikasa."I was wondering..if you two along with your families would like to come over to our house? Since summer already started, we could enjoy a little. Excitement washed over Eren's face, and he quickly nodded, clearly thrilled at the prospect of visiting our house.I chuckled at Eren's eagerness. 

Mikasa's fingers fidgeted with each other as she spoke up quietly, "I don't think I can come. We have a relative staying with us, and my parents won't want to leave him at home while visiting someone else." There was a hint of disappointment in her voice, as if she wanted to join the gathering but couldn't. I smiled warmly at Mikasa, trying to reassure her, "No problem, bring him too! The more, the merrier. Your relative is welcome to join us as well!"

A smile spreads across my face as the idea of a summer house party takes shape,I mentally made a note to ensure that everything was prepared for the gathering tomorrow.

As the kids headed off to Armin's room, the Ackerman and Jaeger couple greeted my husband and me warmly. We introduced eachother, talking about our children. During our conversation with Mikasa's mother, I suddenly remembered the mention of a relative staying with them. Curious, I politely inquired, "Excuse me, I remember Mikasa mentioning a relative staying with you. Is he not joining us today?".
