Why is that sadness is so gentle with its touch?
When it caresses my cheeks I can't help but to succumb
To let it hold me and drag me down
Slowly and ever so softly it consumes me
It fills a part of me as if it was so sweet, and it is
It turns into everything I need, into what I craveAnd so it gathers in my heart, breaking it apart
Tearing at it slowly, rapturing my breath
Whispering into my ear that this is what I deserve, what I'll always be
