As I arrived at the party, I was greeted by a sea of people in masks. It was a masquerade party, which meant everyone's faces were concealed. I felt a pang of frustration, knowing it would make it harder for me to find her in the crowd.
I walked further into the party, scanning the room for her. But without being able to see her face, it was difficult to find her among the sea of people. I felt a sense of urgency to find her, to know she was safe and away from any other men who might try to get close to her.
I continued to weave my way through the crowd, trying to catch a glimpse of her. Every now and then, I would pause and look into the eyes of a girl thinking it was her before realizing it wasn't. My frustration grew as the minutes ticked by, and I still hadn't seen her anywhere.
I started to feel anxious, the thought of her being out of my sight and maybe having other guys hit on her was driving me crazy. I had to find her, I had to make sure she was safe and no one was trying to touch what was mine.
Finally, I caught a glimpse of a woman standing by the bar. Even though her face was hidden behind a mask, I recognized her body instantly. It was Rose, standing there sipping on a drink.
I made my way through the crowd, my eyes never leaving her. She looked absolutely beautiful, her figure silhouetted against the dim light. My heart rate quickened as I got closer to her, wanting to be by her side.
I was wearing a mask as well, which covered most of my face. I approached the bar, standing a few inches away from her. I didn't want to startle her, so I stayed quiet for a moment, just watching her.
She was sipping on a drink, her lips wrapped around the glass and her eyes scanning the room. I wanted to say something, to get her attention, but I decided to wait a bit longer. I observed her, watching the way she fidgeted with the glass and how her eyes darted around the room like a cornered animal.
I could see the nervousness in her body language, and it made me want to protect her even more. I knew she was out of her comfort zone, and the thought of someone trying to approach her scared me.
Her friends suddenly appeared beside her, and my heart skipped a beat. They started talking to her, clearly trying to get her to go dance with them. She looked reluctant, but her friends were being persistent.
I noticed that a boy had joined her friend, standing close to Amyra. It was evident that the three of them were close friends, and the boy seemed to be very familiar with Rose. I instantly felt a pang of jealousy as I watched them interact.
The boy seemed to have a way of making her smile and laugh, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of envy. I wanted to be the one making her laugh, I wanted to be the one standing close to her, not some other guy.
My thoughts were interrupted when I saw the guy put his hand on her shoulder. It was a seemingly innocent gesture, but my blood boiled at the sight of him touching her.
