Invisible String - Taylor Swift

It's almost the start of the summer. But the weather already started to feel too hot to the point that sometimes it feels like the skin is burning because of the extreme heat. During this type of extreme weather it's hard to sleep after sunrise. But for the people who work till late night it's even harder since they don't get enough sleep.

That's what is currently going on with Haerin. She was working on her project till 4 am and then went to sleep. But it was so hot that she had to keep her window open so the extra breeze could get inside her room. She has one ceiling fan and one extra electric table fan beside her bed but nothing is helping after the sun has risen.

But the heat isn't the only thing which has woken up Haerin at 7 am. It's the drilling and wood cutting sound which is coming from the house next to her. Haerin rubs her eyes with her and gets up slowly. She fixes the thin tank top she is wearing since it's really hard to wear any heavy t shirt or shirt for sleeping for the extreme hit. She notices how it's drenched with her own sweat. She makes an annoyed face and sniffs the tank top. 

“Ew what the hell” Haerin says.

Again she gets startled by the woodcutting sound, coming from the house next to her's. Haerin makes an annoyed sound and gets up from the bed. She gets near the window and tries to see what's going on. Because she knows the house which is next to her house has been empty for years. And it was the only empty house in the neighborhood. She tried to look at the lawn of the house. There is a small boundary between her house and that house. It's like that for every house in this neighborhood. 

Normally it's a calm and quiet neighborhood since it's far away from the city. But it's calm and safe. That's why Haerin likes it a lot. And it’s more interesting to her because there is a forest very near. And also there is a beach nearby too. With a bike it takes 20 minutes to reach the beach. Weird combination but she absolutely loves this countryside. But during summer sometimes it gets so hot which she hates a lot.

Haerin takes her towel which was laid down on her study chair and wipes her sweat from her neck and shoulder. She is still trying to see who is making sound in that house. But she can't see anything properly so she puts down the towel and takes the shirt which was on the couch beside her bed. She puts on the shirt and heads towards the main door.

“Listen Minji, I do not give a damn about your investigation. You aren’t even a real detective yet” Hanni yells in her phone.

“But I got a big clue and I want to share it with you” The person named Minji sulks fron the other side of the call.

“Go call Hyein and tell her about it” Hanni yells again.

“But she blocked my number” Minji sadly replies.

“That's what you deserve for calling us a hundred times a day. For the love of god Minji, let me do my work. I just moved in today and I  have so many things to do to renovate this house. Stop calling me” Hanni shouts and hangs up.

Hanni sighs and takes her ax again to cut the woods. She just moved out from her hometown to the countryside. And yes for that she had to fight her parents a lot. They wanted her to stay in the town till the result of her last year of high school and take preparation for her university entrance exam. But she needed fresh air so badly.

Hanni's parents are so stubborn but Hanni isn’t any less of it. She just finished her final exams and her result will be published in August and the university entrance exams will take place in November-December. There is no way she will stay sane if she lives with her parents this whole time. They already destroyed her mental health by creating pressure to do well in the final exam. That's why she left the city for good and came here to connect with nature and the beach.
