**"Woah!!!**

I have never seen such a pure white dragon in my entire existence. She's special... What if she's the one who completes the prophecy?"

Could she be?

I need to inform the Director immediately. This girl

could be of great use to us. There's only one dragon with such a color—the legendary Naxi King.

Suddenly, Luna collapsed, her body limp. Her father caught her just before she hit the ground. We rushed her back home, laying her unconscious body on her bed. The fear and rage that had twisted her face was now replaced with peace and stillness

.

"Let's go to the living room and talk," her mother whispered, her voice shaking.I followed her quietly.

"So, Aiden," her mother asked, concern laced with fear, "when do you think the Director will want Luna admitted into the dragon academy?""The sooner, the better," I replied firmly."How soon are we talking about?" her father asked, worry clouding his face."Tonight," I said, my voice steady.

Her mother's breath caught in her throat, and tears welled up in her eyes. "I never thought my little girl would grow up so fast... I'm not ready to let her go."

Her father wrapped a comforting arm around her, but I could see the same worry reflected in his eyes.

"The sooner she learns to control her powers, the safer she'll be. We have to let her go... for her own sake."

The night was drenched in the cool glow of the full moon, casting long shadows across the ground. All the preparations were complete. Luna had packed her bags and was standing with her parents, their faces a mix of pride, fear, and sadness.

"Human emotions" ,I've never understood why they allow themselves to feel so much. Yes, they were dragons, but after living among humans for so long, it was inevitable that some of their habits had rubbed off on them.

I, on the other hand, waited on the rooftop, my eyes scanning the horizon. I was waiting for Zack. He was a dragon who preferred riding his horse, Peter, instead of flying. It was better this way; Luna didn't know how to control her wings yet, and flying would have been risky.

The clock struck midnight, the sound echoing softly through the silent night.

And then I saw him—a shadow against the moonlit sky, riding towards us on his steed. Zack had arrived, just as planned.

Luna emerged from the house, flanked by her parents. Her steps were hesitant, her face pale under the moonlight. Her mother held her hand tightly, while her father carried her bag, his expression solemn. Their love and fear for her were palpable, but they were trying to remain strong. As they approached, Luna's eyes flicked between Zack and Peter, the massive horse, and then to me. She still didn't fully grasp the gravity of what was happening, but the uncertainty in her gaze was unmistakable. Her mother squeezed her hand one last time, a tear slipping down her cheek. "Be brave, my love. This is your destiny." Her father gently placed the bag on Peter's side and turned to Luna. "You'll be fine. We're proud of you.

Luna bit her lip, trying to hold back her own emotions, but the weight of leaving her family behind was evident. She looked at me, as if searching for some kind of reassurance. "It's time," I said softly, nodding toward Zack. Zack dismounted Peter and offered Luna his hand. "Don't worry. We'll take care of you at the academy." Luna hesitated for a moment, then nodded and took his hand, stepping closer to the horse.

This was her first real step into the unknown world of dragons.
