One Month Before Covid

"How long exactly are we suppose to take off mel?" A man says in an inquiry to his friend.

Mel who was strolling alongside his friend heard him and sigh deeply. "The captain says that we haven't gotten a response from the others in Texas. What about you. What ya got from your search?"

"Stopped by a friend that had been one of the few people that escaped the texas border attack." Uttered baron as he was about to speak once more his colleague cut him off.

"How's your friend doing... I heard that alot of people were killed during the attack." Mel says aware of the incident that transpired in the middle of the texas and Mexico border.

"She's doing alright, for now. She managed to escape with a minor injury. One of those medevil bastards had left a cut on her right shoulder." Baron replied with slight disinterest even though his friend can see it.

"Aww sorry about that. But hey, good thing we're about to deal with those people pretty soon." Commented Mel as he and baron took a left turn to where the parking lot is.

"Yeah men, I agree with you on that. Besides, I just got laid off from my civilian job, and I need something to set my frustration on." Baron told him as they stood by allowing one of the soldiers to pass by.

However as the two stood there for a good minute, the sounds of rollerblades can be heard coming east of their side. Both friends along with a few good numbers of other people watched on as a single Chinook flew over their position and headed for the landing pad as everyone eyes follows after it.

When the Chinook made land, it's right side slid opened and two men dressed in military uniform exited. Once they were outside the two stepped six feet apart from one another, following after the duo had hopped out a man and woman stepped out afterwards.

Both of which the military personals in base understood that the two were obviously high ranking officials...

After the pair had finished grooming themselves, they went to the building, which was merely fifty-six yards from their parking space.

As they were doing so, one of the two colleagues notices a familiar faces walking towards their way.

"Mel, baron! It is good to see you two gentlemen!" The woman spoke in greetings pleased to see old faces.

"I could say the same about you as well Nalia... And who may this be?" Baron said in return as he then asked of who the man that stands next to her.

"Gladly. Allow me to introduce to y'all Mr. Vigally... Mr vigally, this here are baron and mel. They're the two people I've told you about just yesterday before our departure." Nalia says to the less apathetic man.

Vigally a six foot two and a half man promptly reaches forth and shook hands of the two man. "It is a pleasure to meet you gentlemen."

Mel simply smiled as he responded in behalf of him and baron. "The pleasure is all ours sir."

"Since you two have arrived, you wouldn't mind if we join." Spoke baron seeing as he along with Mel were called to the base headquarters for an urgent matter.

"I don't see the problem with that. Please lead the way." Vigally says gesturing for him to lead the way.
