Short 10: Valentine's Day

At the Goetia Mansion, Stolas is in his chambers and feels very excited and giddy today. The Goetia Prince is humming a little tune as he gets himself dressed. He is wearing a white dress long sleeve shirt with wrist ruffles and a high collar, a deep red vest with gold buttons, and black trousers. Once he's dressed, Stola puts on a little makeup on his face like the mascara and some blush.

Just then, the door opens and Octavia walks inside, "Hey dad."

Stolas turns to see his daughter and says, "Hello my little starfire, what are you up to?"

"Not much, just doing some studying and all that," Octavia says.

Then notices her dad is dressed, "Are you going somewhere?"

"Oh well uh, I just thought I would go out and uh, well do things. It is Valentine's Day in the Human Realm and Hell," Stolas says.

Soon, Octavia understands and rolls her eyes, "I get it. You want to spend time with a certain Imp that begins with a 'B' and ends in an 'Z'"

Stolas blushes, "Well uh...."

Octavia giggles, "It's okay dad. I understand. Hope you have fun with your uh, lover, well childhood I suppose."

"Thank you, my little owlet," Stolas says with a smile.

"No problem. Good luck," Octavia says and takes her leave from the room.

"Thank you," Stolas says and soon finishes his makeup.

Once he's finished, Stolas takes a deep breath, "Right. Now, time for us to go to find something for him."

And with that, Stolas takes his leave from the palace and arrives at the shopping center soon after.

Determined, Stolas says, "Alright, time to search for the perfect present for Blitz."

Stolas then begins to look around the various stores all over the shopping centers. He arrives at a clothing store to check out some of the clothes, but he thinks getting Blitz clothes might be too simple. So, he shakes his head and leaves the store.

He then walks into a gift shop, where there are some clothes, pens, globs, keychains, and other items you see in a shop. However, none of them seems right, and some are too simple, or too weird.

Stolas then tries going to other stores and shops around the area. Eventually, Stolas finds himself in a flower shop and looks around for any nice flowers. He still wants to find the perfect gift for Blitz, he thinks it would be nice to get him a bouquet of flowers as well. He soon finds a bouquet of red roses and decides to buy a bouquet of them along with some baby's breaths.

After buying the bouquet, Stolas walks around and says to himself, "Hmm, none of the items seem right. It's been twenty five years since I've seen him, but he has also changed since he's a child. He can use magic, he's into plants and herbs for remedies, a bit similar to my interest in botany. Of course, he loves to perform and uses his magic for his performances," He thinks out loud, "What would be a perfect gift for him?"

Suddenly, something shines into his eyes, causing him to turn to see a small, beautiful crystal statue horse, of a red color. There is also a pink heart shaped crystal on the chest area of the horse.

Seeing the crystal, Stolas smiles and says, "Perfect."

Sometime later...

Blitz is in his bedroom, reading a book. Blitz then pets Sophie on the head as she comfortably sleeps on the pillow of his bed. Since it's Valentine's day, Charlie and Vaggie have gone out for a date. Angel is at work, Alastor and Niffty head off to visit a friend of his. Everyone else either relaxes or does their own thing in the hotel.

Suddenly, he hears a knock on the window. Blitz puts his book down and walks towards the window, opens it, and looks around to see who is knocking. His question is soon answered when the Goetia Prince appears and flies over to him, just like how they meet each other again.

"Oh hi Stolas," Blitz says with a smile.

"Hello Blitz, do you mind if I come in?" Stolas replies.

"No, not at all. Come in," Blitz says and opens the door wide enough for Stolas to fly in. Once inside, Stolas places his feet on the floor.

"So what brings you here today? I didn't expect a surprise visit," Blitz asks.

Blushing a bit, Stolas says, "Yes, well, you see, I'm not sure if you remember, but today is Valentine's day and um..."

"Well, kind of. Charlie told me a bit about it and she and Vaggie went out today for it," Blitz says.

"Of course, and well, I want to give you something," Stolas says and presents the bouquet of roses and the present box. The box is burgundy with a gold yellow ribbon wrapped around it.

"Really for me?" Blitz asks.

Stolas nods.

"Thank you," Blitz says and takes the bouquet of roses.

He gives them a sniff, "They're really nice."

Blitz then places the bouquet on the desk before taking the present box from Stolas

Curious, Blitz asks, "What is it?"

Stolas giggles, "You have to open if you wish to know."

Blitz nods and begins untying the ribbon. Then unwrap the wrapping paper. He then opens it to reveal the red crystal horse with the pink crystal heart on the chest. Blitz wides open in surprise, but is able to smile.

He turns to Stolas and says, "Stolas, this beautiful."

"Do you like it?" Stolas asks.

"I love it," Blitz says.

Stolas blushes with a smile, "I'm glad. I wasn't really sure what to get you, but when I saw this, I thought you might like it. I remember when you were a child you were always fond of horses."

"Really? Well, even now I still do love horses," Blitz says with a smile.

"I'm really glad to hear it," Stolas says.

Both of the demons blush.

Then Stolas asks, "And well um, I also wanted to ask if you weren't busy, wouldn't um, want to go out for lunch."

Blitz smiles and says, "I think I like that."

"Really?!" Stolas asks, getting excited.

But then calms himself down, "I mean, I'm glad. "

Stolas then presents his hand towards Blitz, "Shall we."

Blitz smiles and takes Stolas' hand, "Sure."

And with that, Blitz and Stolas head out together. Of course, they let Loona and the others know where they're going. Either way, this ends up being a sweet and romantic day for them.
