Hi. I'm Bingo Heeler and I have stage five lung cancer. I'm fourteen years old, and when I found out, I was only five. The doctors found the cancer in my body when it was already at stage three. Once I have my next appointment, they're gonna check to see if I have a brain tumor.

"Bingo honey, you need to get ready for your appointment!" My Mum yelled.

I ran around the house frantically looking for my backpack. It has my oxygen supplies in it.

"Mum, I found it! Can bluey come too?" I asked Mum.

"Yes, honey. She's already in the car. Come on!" Mum replied.

I walked out to the car and we hopped in.

"Mum, please tell me why I have cancer." I said.

"Honey, it's in my mum's DNA, so there was some in mine, spreading to you." She replied.

"Didn't Bluey get that bit of DNA, too?" I asked.

"Yes, Bingo. That's how Bluey got cancer." Mum replied.

"What if I have a brain tumour?" I asked Bluey.

"Then you'll get kemo therapy for a while, and if it doesn't go away on its own, the doctors will remove it themselves." Bluey told me.

"Okay." I replied.

"We're here." My Mum said.
