I got out of bed immediately. I remembered that today Lila, my Mum, and I are visiting America. I was so excited. I ran to go get my bags. Our flight left in an hour, and we needed to be ready to leave for the airport. I found my bags, and FaceTimed Lila.

She answered.

"Hi, Bingo!" Lila said.

"Hello! I'm so, so, so, excited!" I replied.

"I know, me too! My Mum and I are gonna head to the airport soon." I said to her.

"I'm already at the airport waiting. I really didn't want to be late." Lila said.

"Wait one second. Mum, are you ready? Lila's waiting!" I yelled.

"Yes, sweetie. I'm ready. Come on." Mum replied.

"Okay! Bye, Lila. See you soon!" I said to her.

"Goodbye, see you soon!" Lila replied.

I hung up as I ran outside with my stuff. Mum and I got into the car and drove off.

"Mum, how come Bluey didn't come?" I asked.

"She's in New Zealand with Mackenzie, Remember?" Mum told me.

"Oh, yeah." I replied.

The rest of the drive was really quiet. It went by fast.

We finally arrived at the airport. We went inside and I saw Lila and ran up to her.

"Oh my God. Lila!" I said, while hugging her.

"Aaah, Bingo! I missed you so much." She said.

Mum said it was time to go, so we followed her.

We walked over to the gate and gave the worker our tickets.

He gave us the tickets back and we boarded the plane.

There was this German Shepard sitting in the aisle seat, I sat at the window seat, and Lila sat in the middle. The plane took off. I stared out the window, thinking about the trip to America. There was a lot of trubulance, and it started raining. Like, down pouring. Thunder, lightning. Lila was very scared I could tell, we've know each other for ten years. I grabbed her hand in attempt to calm her down. She laid her head in my lap. I rubbed her head. She fell asleep soon after.

One hour later.

I had fallen asleep. Lila shook me awake.

"Bingo, wake up! We're in America!" Lila yelled.

"Oh, let's get our suitcases." I said as I blushed seeing her in my lap.

We got our bags and left the aircraft.
