The Fault In Our Hands

We got in the car and started driving to the Air BnB in Charleston, SC.

I was so excited I practically bounced out of my seat once we got there.

"We're here. You two can go see the sights, okay? I'll be at the Air BnB." Mum told us.

"Okay!" I shouted as Lila and I left.

We walked over to a bench and sat down. (Imagine a really sad song playing)

Lila started to cry a little. That made me start to cry too.

"Lila, what's wrong?" I asked in tears.

"I have ischaemic heart disease.. I might die..." She said as she started to cry really hard.

"It's not fair.. why can't we just be happy?" I asked, as I started crying really hard.

"I deserve to die.. I'm a monster that shouldn't exist!" She yelled in tears.

"Lila.." I said tearing up even more.

"Who told you that?" I asked her.

She held my hand and I hugged her. "My parents.." She said in a low, sad, tone.

We just sat there and cried for a little bit. A few minutes later, we decided to go back to the Air BnB. We walked to the bedroom and locked the door.

We got on the bed and she kissed me. 

"Woah.." I said, in an excited, curious, tone.

"Sorry!" She said pulling away.

"Don't be.. I liked it." I said, as I kissed her again. Then she took off her shirt and so did I.

She hugged me. "I love you.. so goddamn much..." She said, looking deeply into my eyes.

"I love you too." I replied.

I took off my bra and she did the same.

"You're.. beautiful." She said to me.

"You are too." I replied.

She hugged me and I melted into it.

"I don't deserve anyone like you.." She said.

"You deserve better. I just want you to be happy. That's all I've ever wanted." I told her.

"Thank you.. for always being there for me." She said.

"I'll be with you until the day I die." I replied.

She just smiled and took off her pants and underwear, then she took off mine.

We cuddled for awhile, wanting to just stay there forever.

I put my head in her lap as we both drifted off to sleep.

I dreamed about Lila that night. It was the best day ever.
