"Elizabeth, it has been quite some time. I see you have brought Margaret and Theodore with you. Oh my, Caroline and Justine too. What brings the whole family here today?" Igor asked as he sat upon his exquisite Velvet chair. Elizabeth stepped forward with Margaret as she spoke, "Master we have come to ask you if there is any way to bring back the chosen one from the dead. As I am sure you are aware of, he was the guest that I tended to." Igor saw a glimmer of sadness wash over Elizabeth as he took a moment to enter a deep thought.
"Have you considered entering the 'Hall of Mirrors' and speaking to our omnipotent friend on the other side? After all he is the one who has the ultimate power to bring anyone back that he so pleases." Igor looked deep within the family's eyes as they all knew the man he referred to. Elizabeth spoke his name under her breath, not the name that SEES knew him by, his real name. "You speak of Mr. J... Mr N... My what a brilliant idea." Elizabeth turned on her heel as she and her family left the Velvet room and into the Velvet Hallway. They stopped at a door made of glass. Elizabeth opened it and stepped forward. She and her brother and sisters found themselves once again in reality, the real world that exists outside the Velvet room and the land of fiction. The stepped up to an apartment building. Elizabeth searched her heart as she selected a room with the initials on the door. "JN" she knocked on the door.
"Just a second!" A booming and prideful voice was heard from the other side of the door. A moment later the door opened showing Fire. The author of the book You are currently reading and prior books. "What!? Elizabeth?" Before he could ask any more questions Elizabeth held a finger to his mouth. "My family and I wish to ask you to revive Makoto Yuki, it pains us to know that he resides now in the sea of souls." Fire knew exactly what Elizabeth was asking for. "I... Alright. But I can't just write in the story that he's alive again. You've gotta make things intricate and feel real. That's why my books have been so successful."
Elizabeth and her family returned to the Velvet Hallway as they knew that Fire would give them what they requested. "Don't worry Elizabeth, he'll do it. I know he will because he cares deeply for the characters within his stories." Margaret said as she gave Elizabeth a pat on the shoulder.
"Mom, hurry up, I'm gonna be late." Maki was yelling from the living room of the Yuki residence. Yukari stepped out from the kitchen holding a lunchbox. She handed it to Maki who was looking at her baby bump. "Mom you don't have to come with me if you don't want to. Uncle Junpei is gonna be here with aunt Fuuka and aunt Kirijo soon." Maki was showing great concern for her pregnant mother. Both of them were surprised when they found out late that Yukari was going to bare yet another child. Nobody made note of the obvious baby bump but they couldn't ignore it now. It was the middle of August and Maki was doing great in her final year of high school.
"You don't need to worry about me. Minato and I will be just fine, I'm kinda glad that I chose to check the baby's gender so that I could name his sooner. When I had you your father wanted to combine our names together and came up with Maki. Thinking back on it we made a good choice." Yukari was getting emotional but Maki knew that it was in part thanks to the pregnancy that she was acting the way she was. Maki walked towards the door as Yukari sat down of the couch. Maki waved goodbye to her mother before leaving the house. Just as she was leaving Junpei, Fuuka, and Mitsuru walked up to the house. Mitsuru had given them a limo ride to the house.
"Sup Maki, is your mom doing alright?" Junpei asked. Maki gave a chuckle before letting them know she was on the couch. As the three of them walked into the house to help Yukari out for the day Maki's classmate and best friend Kojiro Aragaki walked up to the house.
"Are you ready for school today?" He asked. Maki gave him a high five before they walked together to the Iwatodai station. The train ride to the school was just a normal experience for them every day. "So I talked to my dad earlier, he said he'd be able to take us to Destiny Land during our summer break. I know what I'm gonna be doing while we're there." Kojiro seemed really excited about the trip. Maki remembered going to Destiny Land when she was younger, her parents took her one time when she was about 10 years old. It was a very fun time for her.
