Chapter 9: Preparations (Part III)

"Thank you all for gathering today, I know it's been an interesting several weeks." Mitsuru was standing in the rebuilt command room of the old Iwatodai dorm. Akihiko, Junpei, Chidori, Yukari, Ken, Maki, Aigis, Fuuka, Ken, Kojiro, Shinjiro, Kotone, Makoto, Lance, Metis, Labrys, everyone, they were all taking seats on couches and chairs as Mitsuru continued, "As you all know the man Matsuyama who was once a member of Strega has resurfaced recently in an attack on Makoto's house while we were all gathered. Since that day Makoto and Yukari have slowly been training their son Minato to be a persona user. We have found that within him holds the full power of what Makoto calls..." Makoto stood up as he continued where Mitsuru left off.

"He holds within himself the power of the entire compendium of personas. Every persona that I have held, Narukami, and that guy in the Velvet room, Ren. He has the ability to summon every single persona any of us have ever been able to. It's impressive to say the least. So from now on he will be joining us in battle as he learns to control his power." Everyone started to chatter as Aigis stood up. Everyone stopped talking as they looked to her.

"I comprehend. Minato shall be our highest priority from now on. His life must be put above our own. His destiny shall be to finish what we started so long ago." Junpei then stood up. "Yeah, he's more important now than any of us thought. But we just gotta deal with this new Strega group. Oh, and that guy you guys met in the Velvet room, Ren." Mitsuru then had Makoto bring Minato into the room as the entire group of SEES was introduced to him. "Sup dude." "Hello" "How's it goin?" "Hi" "Greetings" Everyone was saying their hellos to Minato as he remembered his aunts and uncles. He never met Lance, Kojiro, Minerva, Metis, or Labrys though. The introductions were short lived as Fuuka got a reading from her persona.

"I'm sensing several powerful presences, I believe it to be the new Strega." Everyone stood up as they headed out. Everyone began running as Fuuka informed them there was a problem occurring at the Nanjo building. As they reached the entrance they found several injured and dead guards outside the main building. Just before they could enter though several masked enemies jumped out at the large group. "Persona!"

Isis, Ceasar, Artimisia, Kala-nemi, and Athena appeared as they began to fight the masked hostile forces of Strega. The rest of the group pushed inside the building while Yukari, Akihiko, Mitsuru, Ken, and Aigis held off the attack outside the massive tower. As the rest of the team entered the main waiting area though they found even more Strega members waiting for them. "Persona!" Junpei yelled as his heart called out to his lovely wife Chidori. His persona Zeus and Chidori's persona Medea formed before everyone as they fused together and created Trismegistus. Junpei told everyone to keep going as he alone fought off the enemies within the main entrance.

Makoto and Maki were leading the charge as they entered what looked to be the warehouse of the tower. "You've come quite a long way just to die. My master would be most displeased with you." As they turned to the voice they saw Margaret, but behind her was also Margaret as she was tied up and couldn't move. "Margaret!" Makoto cried out. Just then several of the Velvet room attendants appeared. "They're evil shadow versions of them all. We've gotta beat this if we're going to get past. Persona!" Makoto and the rest of the team summoned their personas. Mimir, Orpheus Telos, Castor, everyone's personas were ready to fight. Margaret and her brother Theodore struck first at the team while the other shadows attacked. Orpheus Telos struck the shadows hard as he used the most powerful ability a persona could gain without the use of fusion attacks. Morning Star, an ability that dealt massive almighty damage to every one of the shadows.

"Now's our chance for an all-out-attack!" Everyone charged in and the shadows of Theodore and the smaller siblings disappeared. Margaret's shadow remained as she summoned pixie, Makoto knew where it was leading as he told everyone to take cover. "I give you Megidolaon!" Before Margaret's shadow could attack though she was blasted back by someone else's powerful Megidolaon. Makoto turned to the back of the warehouse and saw Elizabeth standing in the back holding a book of Arcana cards. Margaret's shadow soon vanished into nothingness as Elizabeth stepped forward. "My I wasn't expecting this outcome when I came to your rescue. You should hurry, I will provide assistance to your friends. But know that only you and your blood relatives may enter the final room holding the one you seek."

Makoto, Maki, and Minato ran past Elizabeth as they told the others to go back and help with cleaning up all the Strega thugs. Before Makoto and his children could reach the executive office they were face to face with a horrifying sight. "I'm surprised that Matsuyama was able to gain a new ally with the power to revive the dead. But you shall not stand in our way anymore." Takaya, Makoto was sick and tired of the games of bringing back enemies he'd defeated multiple times before. "Messiah!" "Thanatos!" "Per... So... Na" Makoto summoned Messiah, Maki summoned Thanatos, and Minato put his Evoker to his head as he summoned Hypnos. Takaya was taken aback by seeing someone else use his persona against him.

The combined power of the Yuki bloodline was too much for Takaya as he was blasted out of the window in one swift strike sending him plummeting to his death down to the ground below. Mitsuru and Akihiko just got done cleaning up the last of Strega outside when a body crashed from above into a nearby car. As they walked over to investigate they saw the mangled and destroyed body of Takaya. "Guess they were tired of hearing him." Akihiko said before everyone burst into laughter.

Makoto, Maki, and Minato stepped through the door when they came face to face with both problems at once. Ren and Matsuyama were standing at the desk of the head of the Nanjo group, Kei Nanjo. "Makoto Yuki, I was wondering when you would slither back to me for a rematch." Makoto chuckled. "Rematch? You couldn't even lay a finger on me last time, what makes you think you've not only caught up to me but now surpass me?" Ren held up his hand holding an Arcana card of the World Arcana. "Recognize this card? The Universe, this is exactly what you are now, should I destroy this card you cease to exist." Makoto's smirk turned to a frown as the three Yuki's summoned their ultimate personas, Orpheus Telos, Thanatos Telos, and Minato looked into Ren's soul and summoned Satanael, Ren's ultimate persona. The battle was indeed interesting as Matsuyama stood no chance against the onslaught that Makoto and Maki pushed. Minato with Satanael were struggling against Ren who was using the Reaper as a means of attacking. Makoto struck Matsuyama with his sword as he fell to the ground.
