He could feel his heart beating softly in his palm. Ever since Earendel was sended down to her, he was told by King and Queen themselves that he was free to follow and not follow their daughter's orders. But that's until whenever the Princess says she wishes for something, he will never turn back on her. He sighs, and he has to admit to himself. He actually wanted to go to the village with her, too.
Earendel let's his guard fall and faces the Princess he cherished most. He walked towards her slowly, with a graceful on his face.
"Okay... As you wish." He says softly, taking her hand and kissing her knuckles filled with honor for her. "But you're not going out with that." Earendel pointed at the sparkly lavender colored poofy dress the Princess wore. Asha looked at her sides and then stared down with curiosity in her eyes. With such beautiful royalty, she'd immediately get noticed.
Earendel could already imagine hundreds of villagers rushing to her like a flock of birds and crowding the little Princess questioning her left, and right, front and behind her if which of their wishes will be granted this year. It will leave the poor girl so suffocate! The Princess's guard thought so.
He motions Princess Asha to take a step closer. "Come, let me help you to blend in." Asha nods and willingly came to him. Earendel then takes a moment to think of what outfit would make her blend in.
Golden sparkles flew from a twirl of index his finger. The magic swirled around Asha in a golden ring spirals. The sparkles animatedly, smoothly transforming her royalty dress, to a casual and more simple looking outfit. It came with her signature color and topping it up. Earendel's magic wrapped a purple cloak that hugs her body with yellow accents and baby blue colored stars embroidered on the back. The princess was amazed by Earendel's skills, awed by how she looked she gave a little spin. She looked perfect with that hood she could blend just exactly like the others.
"Earendel, I look -"
"Beautiful." He smiled at her, he puts on her hood, she lets out a small giggle. "Ready to go, Princess?"
"You too, Earendel." The Princess pointed at him, his glowing aura and his uniform. Expecting him to change his appearance too, if he kept his uniform and his glowing aura, then people would find out that the Princess was here. Because the guard always goes with his princess goes.
"You're right." He replies, he closes his eyes, then takes a deep breath and exhales softly, the light around him dimmed away. The color of his tanned skin bloomed more without the light. And with the snap of his fingers, the sparkles switched his guard uniform to a plain white shirt with brown overalls looking like a son of a blacksmith. Asha covered her the bottom of her lip, hiding her smug. Earendel places hands on his hips. "No laughing." He tried his best to hold his smile but failed at the start.Word count: 518
