After all the craziness died down the next day, and after a team Lyle celebration, which consisted of a Star Wars marathon because of the nerds they are, the group spent their last week going out and having fun. And when the week was over everyone headed to the big Google bus to return back to their universities.
"Have a great senior year, guys. We'll keep your desk chairs warm for you." Lyle said as they stood in a circle, giving their goodbyes until next summer when the younger four would be able to join the older three for their jobs.
"Teem Lyle." The team cheered, putting their hands in before going in for a hug as they laughed.
"Yo-Yo! Come. Now." A woman yelled, getting out of the passenger side of a car, causing them all to turn to her.
"Mom, I need a minute." Yo-Yo told her.
"Yo-Yo, I not go. We need to-" The woman started in on the one eye-browed boy.
"Mom. I'm saying good-bye to my friends. I'm taking a minute. Okay?" He said and the woman smiled, impressed that he finally stood up to her, and she nodded. Then his dad turned to them, his right eyebrow gone, just like Yo-Yo, looking at him with awe and a thumbs up.
"Look who grew an eyebrow, Yo! Come on!" Billy said, tapping the guy on the chest as they all laughed and went in for another hug. "Alright you riff-raff, get out of here. See you down the road."
"See you, bud." Stuart said with a nod as they all went their different ways.
When they got closer to the bus Emily turned to Stuart, holding his hand in hers with their fingers intertwined.
"Don't be a stranger, okay? Text me, all the time. Comment, call, everything. Okay?" She said and he looked at her, amused.
"Forget that. I'm gonna come see you in person." He told her and she giggled.
"Yeah, I'd love that." She told him and he nodded with a smile, as Yo-Yo and Neha walked over to them.
"Hey, guys, I grew a pair of balls. Did you see them?" He asked the three of them.
"You did! It was amazing." Neha told him, smiling brightly.
"You grew a big pair of balls, my man." Stuart agreed.
"They're touching my ankles." Yo-Yo said.
"Okay." Emily said, a bit weirded out, but mostly amused.
"Well, that- We don't need that." Stuart said in amusement, as they put their bags up and got onto the bus as Yo-Yo went to his parents car.
When they finally got to the airport Neha had to actually drag the two love birds apart because with all their goodbye kissing they almost missed their flights. They knew they'd see each other soon enough, but they still wanted to get as much love in as they could before they were separated.
And as they got on their planes headed back to College, they all had the same thought; Best Summer Ever.
