Billie's POV
"Ok bitches! Let's get fucked up!" Natalie said, holding a bottle of vodka, I laughed, watching her take a long drink from it.
Currently, we're at a party, who hosted it? No clue, who's here? No idea, are we gonna get fucked up? Absolutely. I scanned the room, looking for people I possibly knew. I saw some of my teammates from basketball, Tristian with some of his other friends, and Y/n.
I smirked to myself and made my way over to her. "Fun party right?" I asked her, taking a drink of whatever was in my cup. "I guess..." She trailed off, I looked over to her. Her eyes were read and a little puffy. Had she been crying?
"Are you ok? I asked. She turned to me with a look of...urgency, she smiled and laughed. "Me? oh yeah I'm great!" She exclaimed, rubbing her eyes a bit. I narrowed my eyes at her, looking at the girl suspiciously.
Once again, I scanned the room, this time, for Y/n's boyfriend, who was talking loud in a big group, most of them being girls ready to suck his tiny dick. I nodded my head towards him. "Is he the reason you're so great?" I asked her sarcastically. She laughed, but didn't say anything, which I'm going to take as a yes.
Y/n's POV
Connor hadn't done anything, but just seeing him talk and flirt with all those girls made me sick to my core. I guess Billie saw this, she could see straight through my lies.
Billie leaned over, whispering in my ear. "I could be a better boyfriend than him." My eyes widened at what she said. Was she serious?
Before I could say anything else she had walked away. I stood there, staring at her. I shook the feeling, walking towards Daisy who was chatting with our mutual friend, Chase. He's probably the straightest cheerleader ever but still gets allegations.
"Hey guys." I spoke, grabbing a coke out of the fridge.
Chase turned to me. "I saw you talking to Billie over there, didn't know yall were friends." I laughed nervously. "Uhm we aren't we just uh have a project together..."
"What class?" Daisy asked.
Shit what class did I have with Billie? Daisy and Chase can't have that class either so the only thing left is P.E.
shit.
"Oh uh, P.E but like it's like a fitness project and stuff." I let out nervously. "I'm actually on curfew so I better get going! Bye guys!"
I hastily left the party, but then I realized something.
Connor drove me here.
That means I have no way home, and I don't even know where I am. I could walk home...or call and uber, or- "You need a ride?" A voice echoed from the dark, I squinted my eyes and saw Billie in a black pick up truck.
"Uhm yeah actually." I told her, she grinned, and motioned for me to get in her car. I told her my address and she sped off. The car ride was silent for a moment. Awkward, uncomfortable, silence. "So, why'd you wanna leave?" She asks me.
"I don't know, could be asking you the same thing."
"Fair enough." She laughed, continuing to drive me home.
~~~
It was around 12am when Billie dropped me off. "Thanks for the ride." I told her, exiting the car.
"Any time!" She winked, before speeding off again.
