It had been a few months after MK and Red got married, and they were living in their new home in Red's personal home with The Flaming Mountains. While they enjoyed having some time alone, it was nice.
After saving the world, again. It was nice to sit back and relax.
For now, at least.
It started out like any other normal day. Get up for work, train with the Monkey King, fun times with the most awesome best friend and husband in the world.
Until...something unexpected happened.
It was early in the morning, Red Son was fast asleep, snoring away. Hearing the alarm going off, he quickly shut it off. He pulls the blankets off his body and does some stretches and yawning. He looks to his side to see an empty spot where his wife should be.
"MK?"
That's when he hears the sounds of vomiting. "MK? Is everything's all right?" Red Son asked with a sleepy voice as he entered the bathroom and immediately became worried after noticing his wife's condition.
"I don't know, I—" She tried to say but immediately threw up the contents of her stomach. MK groaned weakly, resting her head against the toilet seat.
"My poor darling." the fire demon looked sympathetically, moving closer and kneeling down, stroking her back. "Let's get you some tea."
"Thanks hon."
MK nodded, wiping her mouth and follows her husband to the kitchen, forgetting all about her puking.
It's just innocent food poisoning, right?

Wrong!!
At first it was the puking, but then other things happened. Days passed and for some reason she started feeling a lot more hungry, craving all kinds of foods. Not to mention she hasn't had her period since.
Wait a minute, lateness, cravings, mood swings....Could it be that?
No, no, no. MK couldn't be pregnant.
Right?

Back in her place, MK stared down at the pregnancy test she bought today. MK wanted to make sure. "Okay, let's do this," MK said and heads to the bathroom. After closing the door she opened a water bottle and drinks it all down, when it was all gone she sat down on the toilet and waited.

After she was done with her business, she paced around in her room, biting her nails as she waited for the results. Hearing a 'beeping' noise, she picks up the pregnancy test and takes a deep breath, flipping it over. Her heart when she stared at small screen....
