I'm Pregnant

MK paces back and forth nervously at the noodle shop taking in deep breaths. She can do this, she could do this. All she had to do was tell her husband, Red Son...That she's 100% Pregnant.

"Deep breaths, everything's fine, it's all going to be fine," MK assured herself. After a second she lets out a groan of frustration, tugging at her hair. "What am I saying? I can't do this!"

She sat down in one of the booths, placing her head flat on the table. What was she going to do, how was she going to tell the others, what would their reaction be, or better yet; what would Red's reaction.

"Darling?"

MK froze. The sounds of swooshing and the smell of fire indicates that Red Son teleported here. She turned around to face the fire demon. His face looked concerned. She opened her mouth to say something but was cut off when he ran up towards her and wrapped his arms to wrap around her, pulling her close.

"My dear, where were you? I was so worried that you didn't come home!" He exclaimed, burying his face within her neck. He took her by the shoulders and his worried expression changed into anger.

"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING NOODLE BRAIN!!" He shouted, His hair and eyes blazing as he shook her violently.

She couldn't take much more of this; and the constant shaking, she pulled him off her shutting him up. "Red! Calm down, That's not the reason why I wasn't home." She said.

Red Son pulled away, his grip loosened on her. "Then, what's wrong then?" He asked, calming down.

"I...I...Well," She gulped, feeling the sweat beads dripping down her face. "I need to tell you that...." Red Son stared at her, intrigued by this secret she's keeping from him. "Well, you s-see, th-the thing is that, I m-mean" she stumbled over her words before finally blurting out.

"I'm pregnant!"

Red Son froze in place, standing there in absolute shock, mouth gaping. He blinking a few times thinking he heard her wrong.

"....Wait, What??"

He was so shocked that his brain was struggling to process this news, MK took his silence as bad news. She knew this would happen. Her heart ached with despair. What if he was angry? Or worse, what if he said he wasn't ready for a child and to get rid of it!?

"Are...you serious? You're pregnant?"

She nodded.

"As in, we're going to be parents?"

She nodded again.

Before she could finally say anything, the fire prince laughed and spins her around in his arms. She yelped in surprise at his enthusiasm and a little dizzy from the spinning. He sets her down gently, placed his hand down to her stomach. It was still flat, but it would soon show.

"Oh MK, you've truly made me the happiest demon!"
