"I'm glad you were able to find a moment of happiness right before those amazing nights. It meant that going forward, it made everything a bit easier, didn't it?" The interviewer motions with his hands, which Katarina agrees with.
She tilts her head, finding words to answer with. "Yes, because I had to one person I loved the most by my side, and we made history together. I wouldn't let anything take that moment of happiness away from us." The actress answers to the best of her ability.
Now, she was ready to tell them about big nights that changed their lives.
Katarina gives the journalists and the interviewer a look of excitement.
"The day of Baeksang arts awards."
-
Karina had been sitting in the makeup room for ages. There was much to be done, so she had been scrolling endlessly through her phone while she got ready in order to pass some time. She was the only one in the small room, her friends and Minjeong in separate rooms in preparation for the award show they'd be attending.
On the top of her head, she kept in mind how many nominations both her and Minjeong had managed to garner with their movies. They were even competing against eachother in certain categories and Karina was proud to see how her girlfriend was rising up in the industry. It was nothing but healthy competition.
"I want to make a bet." Minjeong suddenly brought up, spinning in the chair at her desk. Her words piqued the raven's attention, humming in response.
Raising her eyebrow, Karina leaned into the couch, ready for the suggestion. "What do you want to bet on?"
The blonde haired actress walked over to the couch to sit next to Karina, tucking her hair behind her ear. There was a playful smirk on the blonde's lips that made her heart flutter. "Whoever guesses the closest amount of awards Warming Hearts will win at the Baeksang awards gets to make the other person do whatever they want for a day." Minjeong suggested confidently, earning a laugh from the older.
Crossing her arms, Karina stole a kiss from her lips, nodding in agreement. "Deal. I'm going to guess.... 3! That's a decent number to start with, isn't it?" She crawled into Minjeong's lap, resting her arms around the blonde's shoulders.
Minjeong tilted her head slightly, trying to think of a number. "Well... with how well the film has been doing, I'm going to go a little higher and say 6 in total. You have to keep in mind how many categories it was nominated in, so I'm going to try my luck." The younger smirked, gently squeezing Karina's waist.
Biting her bottom lip, the raven wondered what her girlfriend had in mind, just in case Minjeong did end up winning. It could be anything, and the raven knew that it might not end up being the losing game she'd expect it to be. Karina chuckled to herself, thanking the make up artist as she finished up.
Her dress she was wearing had to be one of her favorite dresses she had ever worn. It was a long cream dress, the length reaching all the way down to her feet that she knew she'd have to pick it up a little bit to prevent it from dragging across the floor. She had her hair out and long, cascading down her back while her lipstick was pure and lightly pink, as well as the small amount of blush applied to her cheeks.
It was enough to catch people's attention, but not too much. It was perfect.
They had a little over an hour before they would be making their way to the red carpet. In her head, she was begging that she would have a peaceful night without any issues. Especially which a few exes invited, she hoped not to end up on the receiving side of some grumpy men.
