Today was a disaster.

I thought to myself as I walked towards my apartment. Once I approached the front door, I input the key and twisted the nob. "Hey, how was school?" Nicole looked at me while cooking something I knew would be delicious since I took a quick sniff when I slammed the door.

Without saying anything, I quickly walked to my room and slammed my bedroom door.

I rapidly dropped my gray backpack near my messy bed and sat in my spinning chair that was facing my desk. I logged into my laptop and started writing about my day.

In a few minutes, I heard knocking at my door and remaining silent as I typed, my best friend Nicole poked her head inside my cluttered room. "Hey, um.. can I come in?" She said softly. I nodded and watched her walking in, sitting on my bed.

"What happened?" Nicole said in a concerned voice. "Nothing just stressed out." she raised one of her eyebrows and waited for me to continue talking, obviously not believing that was it.

I sighed, continuing on about my day.
"Since I was too busy writing my English paper, I forgot to do my chemistry research, and I forgot my library book which was due 3 days ago. Also, I had to miss lunch so I could hurry up and research chemistry. Which I didn't get to complete to add to my miserable day." After I finished I giggled a little while rubbing my eyes, knowing that it might not sound that bad of a day but to me it was.

"So you didn't eat lunch today, and that's why your mad?"
I dropped my jaw and stared at her blankly. "I talked about my horrible day, and not eating lunch is what you got?" We both smiled while Nicole was walking toward the door.

"Oh, I almost forgot! Get ready for tonight."

"What, why?" Nicole was close to close the door but yet her head was poking out.

"Tonight, we're going to a party!" Nicole slammed the door and made a run for it before I could lecture her about how I hated parties.

It's weird but I'm not like any other girls in my grade, I'm different. I might have been the fourth hottest girl in my school, but that doesn't mean I'm popular. I've been told that I'm a nerd, greek, bookworm, sweet, a goody-goody, and weird. I don't mind those names but knowing that people know me by my looks doesn't make me proud.

Something about me that nobody knows about is that I want to become a famous author someday (hinting to why I write every day ). I love writing, it's like listing your thoughts or using your imagination to come up with a masterpiece on a paper and letting people read it so they can tell you how much they love it. And have that feeling when people tell you that making that masterpiece was worth it, I just love it!

I closed my laptop and stared at my closet, thinking on what to wear.

Since it was going to be cold, I decided to wear my light purple with white stripes knitted long sleeve with black leggings and my black combat boots. With no time to spare, I quickly did a side braid, and put on mascara and ChapStick before heading toward the front door.
