"So what happened after the party? I mean, all I remember is the cops showing up and I ran back home and the next morning you weren't there. So what happened?" Nicole asked as I was eating Panda Express on my bed.
"Umm... well let's just say it's a party I won't forget. Especially when it's the last party I'll ever go to." I tried to talk with orange chicken in my mouth. Still feeling Nicole staring at me. After I swallowed my food I sighed.
"I'm not going to lie, I had a great time last night-"
"Oh so you did like the party!" Nicole interrupted me but I continued, "Haha, no. The party was horrible! Guys kept on checking me out and this one creepy guy wouldn't leave me alone, and to top it all off I couldn't find my best friend!" After I said that, Nicole put her hands to her mouth. "Oh my gosh, I did leave you didn't I? I'm so sorry, Bryan called me over so I went with him and I thought-"
"Hey Nicole, it's ok. I know you wouldn't do that on purpose and yes I know you feel bad but if I found you last night then I wouldn't have met Max." I had to cut Nicole off since I saw her eyes begin to glisten.
After I introduced who Max was, I can tell Nicole was already thinking of multiple ship names for the two of us. "Wow seems like you had a good time." Nicole nugged my shoulder while wiggling her eyebrows up and down making it hard not to laugh.
"Yep" I said before shoving more orange chicken in my mouth.
****
It has been two days since I've seen Max. I do wonder sometimes where he is or wondering if he's alone while his friends are goofing around. Sometimes I wonder at night when I'm starring at the moon if he's looking at it too. Will I never see him again or was that a once and a life time of having the pleasure of meeting Max? So many questions that are yet unanswered.
'Til next time,-Julia
I logged off of my computer, leaving all my personal thoughts trapped in the screen.
