PRIMO, what on earth are you doing?” -I asked, my head spinning from his incessant pacing.

I really don't understand why he's frustrated when in fact I already told him yesterday that I'm okay. He has been agitated since yesterday, nearly leaving the palace and hunt down my would-be assassin. I wasn't really hurt though, just a bit of a sore foot. The pain's not so bad anymore, I can even walk around without needing help. He's just freaking out—that's nothing new to me, he's always been a bit dramatic.

Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit hanggang ngayon nandidito pa siya sa Scotland. As far I know, dapat ngayon ang alis niya pabalik ng Pilipinas. I kept asking him why he wasn't leaving, but he just ignored me. I was so tempted to punch him, but I needed to save my strength.

“Primo,” -I called him with a hint of regal weariness. “Can you please stop walking? Compose yourself.”

“I am calm,” -he answered. “You don't need to call me everytime, Gwendolyn. I am calm.”

“I find your current demeanor rather amusing.” -I drawled. “You hardly strike me as composed. You've been pacing like a caged beast, gnawing at your lip, fists clenched, and eyes blazing with fury. Is that your definition of calmness?” -I closed my eyes. “Primo, I already told you—”

“I know,” -he cut me off. “I fúcking know that you already said that you're fine and whatever but fúck that,” -he walked towards my direction. “That man who touch you should not be alive. He should die, he should fúcking die.”

My eyes were empty as I stared into his. “You're finally admitting it. You're angry, and in your rage, the word 'calm' no longer exists to you.”

I slowly got to my feet and walked towards him. His eyes drifted down to my feet, which were barely able to support me. I looked down at his clenched jaw, his fists still tight, and his mismatched eyes, which no longer held any charm.

Why can't I ever get used to his behavior, by the way? I mean, he's Primo, he's my best friend.

Ugh, why did I forget that he's like this? He loves me like family, he loves me so that means I shouldn't invalidate his feelings.

I offered him a reassuring smile and lightly caressed his shoulder. “Let my men find that criminal, okay?” -I said. “Let them do their job. You don't need to be mad, I'm fine now.”

“You don't look like fine to me.”

“Primo,” -I bit my lips. “Shouldn't we just be thankful that nothing worse happened? Should we? Let's try to chill out for a bit, okay? We don't want to do anything stupid.”

“Gwendolyn—”

“Primo Claus,” -I cut him off. “Relax. Stop worrying about me, you're making things worsen.”

He let out a breath that sounded like a growl. “Okay fine,” -he whispered. “I'm sorry.”

My head shook in disbelief as I walked towards the couch. Sumunod naman siya sa'kin at marahan akong hinawakan sa kamay. My eyes followed his every move as he gently squeezed my hand, his concern evident in the way he held me.

Whenever he's like this, alam kong kailangan kong ipaintindi sa kanya na okay lang ako, na maayos lang ang lahat at hindi niya kailangang mabahala. Primo hates seeing me hurt, and I feel the same way. Yesterday's incidents were serious, and I can't blame him for being worried. That was alarming, that was serious, so if he's being worried right now, I guess I shouldn't invalidate his concern.
