"Alright, everyone!" The teacher said. "Today is cleaning day for all Hope's Peak Academy students. But, there's more reserve course students than main course students while the main course building is bigger than the reserve course building. That means, some of you will help clean the main course building rather than this one," she explained.

"That's so unfair!" A girl said. "Those spoiled brats should clean their shit themselves,"

"Yeah!" A boy agreed.

"Anyway, is there anyone willing to clean the main course building?"

Hinata raised his hand. This gave him another chance to find the boy from the photos.

"So, Hinata-kun and Sato-san? Alright. You can meet Yukizome-san in the cafeteria of the main course then,"

The two of them got up and made their way there.

"Why are you helping them clean?" Sato asked. "I thought you didn't like the main course students,"

"I've got business with someone there," he said. "You?"

"I want to see Kozumi-san," She smiled. "She's my best friend,"

Hinata nodded. "Cool,"

When they got to the cafeteria, Yukizome stood there with her class. She was talking to someone who was hidden from Hinata's view.

"This is supposed to be a teamwork activity. Everyone does their part to learn how to work together," she explained.

The brunet looked around. The cafeteria looked sparkling clean.

"I apologize... I just wanted to do my classmates a favor..." a voice said.

"And ya did!" A guy with pink hair yelled. "This is the first cool thing you've done since I met ya!" He laughed.

Yukizome sighed and turned around. "Hey there. You two must be the students from the reserve course that were assigned to me. Unfortunately, someone thought it would be fun to clean the entire cafeteria by himself, so we have nothing to do,"

"Oh. Uh... should we go back then?"

"No! We'll do something else instead, together. As a group,"

"...Yukizome-sensei, I don't feel so good... Can I maybe go to the nurse's office?"

She sighed. "Sure. I hope you feel better soon, Komaeda-kun. I suppose cleaning this whole room by yourself would be quite exhausting,"

Hinata's eyes widened at that name. He watched the boy leave the cafeteria.

"Since Komaeda-kun did us such a big favor, how about we... hm... clean his dorm? No, that's disrespecting his privacy... hm... Does anyone know something we can do for Komaeda-kun?"

Everyone shrugged.

"No one knows anything about him," A boy said. "He has no friends or anything like that,"

"Right, I suppose that, even after all these years, he's still sort of a mystery to all of us." She put her hands on her hips. "But he's actually a social butterfly, isn't he? He talks to everyone. So how come none of you have ever made an effort to befriend him?!" She asked, angry.

"...he's such a freak though..."

"He's what?!" She yelled. "How dare you talk about him like that!"

"He is! He's always talking about hope and despair and all those depressing things like dying and being worthless. No one likes talking to him,"

"Everyone has flaws,"

A girl looked up from her console. "Komaeda-kun doesn't want friends, I think. He's nice and he likes us all a lot, but I think he doesn't think he deserve ultimates as friends,"

"That's ridiculous, he's in this school too, isn't he?" She asked and then looked at the two reserve course students. "Hm... what's your name?"

"Hinata Hajime,"

"Hinata-kun! Go to the nurse's office and check how Komaeda-kun is feeling,"

He nodded. "Alright,"
