So I posted this chapter earlier and then deleted it because I thought about continuing this story for longer. Some people have said that i could make a part 2 of this story instead and I'm definetly considering that. But I don't know any plot yet. If anyone has an idea or something, feel free to tell me and if i do create the story and use your idea, I'll give credit obviously. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the story because I know I did! 😊

"Thank you for helping me, Hinata-kun." Komaeda said, picking up one of the moving boxes and setting it on top of another one. He let out an exhausted sigh. "I'm so glad to be done with school. Living in this dorm always gave me anxiety with all the notes I got,"

"No problem. Where are you gonna live now though?"

"On the streets, I guess,"

"What???"

Komaeda chuckled. "I'm just kidding. I'll live in my parents' old house until I find something better,"

"But that place is so dirty. There's no way it's healthy to live there,"

"Don't worry. I haven't done a good cleanup in a while, I'm looking forward to getting it back into shape,"

"Alright. If you need help renovating or building anything, feel free to ask me anytime,"

"Will do. The moving truck should be here soon." He looked at the empty dorm. "This feels kind of weird. I've always idolized Hope's Peak and the ultimates. Now I've graduated and I'll never step foot inside this place again," He said.

Hinata put a hand on his shoulder. "I get it. I've always wanted to be talented, but... I guess it's too late now anyway. I'm done here,"

Komaeda hugged Hinata. "For me, you're the ultimate savior,"

The moving people walked up the hallway.

"Thanks, babe,"

The pale boy gasped. Then, he grinned and kissed Hinata's cheek.

Komaeda put on cleanin gloves and got to work. He vacuumed the floors, mopped them, whiped down the shelves, removed spiderwebs, cleaned the windows, the oven, the stove, threw away a bunch of old stuff, and bought new groceries.

When he entered his parents' room, he sighed. After they died, his uncle had slept there sometimes. Komaeda would cuddle up to him whenever he had nightmares.

He sighed as he pulled off the bedsheets. Once all the sheets had been removed, he sat down and hugged them. He would throw these away. They were old and ripped. "Goodbye, uncle," He said. "I hope we meet again in the next life. If I got to choose, I'd love to be your nephew again,"

He stuffed the sheets into one of the big trash bags he had laying all over the house.

He grabbed the pictures that stood on the bedside table and blew the dust off of them. These could stay here. They weren't damaged.

He opened the closet and sighed at the sight of his father's shirts with corny jokes written on them. He loved those shirts. He saw his mother's beautiful party dresses as well. He decided to keep one of each.

At the bottom of the closet, there was a messy pile of his uncle's clothing. He would keep one of his shirts too.

That evening, he fell into his old bed, exhausted. He called Hinata.

"Hey, babe. How's the cleaning going,"

"I'm done. I'm so tired!"

"I can imagine. Cleaning that big ass house sounds like hell,"

"The cleaning wasn't so hard. It was harder to throw away so many things my parents used to own," He said. "...I miss you. I wish you were here,"

"Want me to come over?"

"You would do that for me?"

"Of course. I mean, I'm your boyfriend and all, so..."

"My boyfriend??" He squealed, excited. "Oh, I truly do have ultimate luck!"

Hinata smiled. "It really makes you that happy to be with me?"

"Mhm. More thah anything,"

"I'm happy to be with you too. I'm gonna go catch the next bus, okay? See you in a minute,"

Komaeda nodded, smiling brightly. "See you. I love you, Hinata-kun,"

"I love you too, Komaeda,"
