INEZ'S POV

I said this to him and touched his chest.

"No." He said

When he said no, I respected his decision and got on my feet. I started to wear my clothes. I know it's his decision, but somewhere in the heart, it stings. I somehow feel rejected. I didn't want to show him that I was hurt, so I started to wear clothes faster to avoid talking to him.

While I was wearing my clothes, he hugged me from behind.

"Sweetheart, if you feel something, you have to tell me and discuss with me. I didn't reject you. I have planned something for the night as I promised you. So wait for it." He replied and turned me around. "Did you really think that I could reject you when I am so crazy about you? Huh? Never ever think that." He said this and gave a peck on my lips.

I heard him and felt good and turned the peck into kiss. Kissing him deeply and passionately. I bit his lips, and he groaned.

That was the most beautiful sound I heard.

Finally, we broke the kiss. "We should choose our dresses." I said and went out of the mirror rooms. He followed me like a puppy.

After 1 hour.

Finally we selected our dresses and have given them the order. I wanted a few things of my choice and told them. Of course we shopped separately. I would love to show him my dress at the party.

One party is for our engagement and other after party is of our business deal.

"Let's go to the restaurant where everyone is there." He said and I asked him if Abhi, kiaan and aarav selected their clothes.

"Well, all of them along with riman and swastik are going to shop tomorrow." He replied and we went to the restaurant là luxe. We all ate our food while chit chatting with each other. I ordered red sauce pasta and Edhas ordered pizza. We both shared our food because I forced him to. What can I do ? I love pasta and pizza.

Mom and dad were eating manchurian with fried rice. Aunty and uncle were eating hakka noodles and spring rolls. They all shared with me, too!

After eating the food we were set to leave towards our companies as it was 4 in the day. I hugged uncle and aunty bidding them goodbye. I went towards Edhas and we both hugged too. "I can't wait for the time when you will be with me and leaving with me too. Not bidding goodbyes." He said this and went towards his car after giving me a forehead kiss.

I stood there like a statue blushing hard.

Mom and dad already went to the car and I too joined them and we departed for our company. I got to know that Abhi couldn't make it because of an urgent meeting, and same with Kiaan and Aarav.

At 7 pm

I have been constantly working my ass off to make up for the time I left. Since four, I have taken no break and am just putting my eyes on my macbook.

Suddenly, during my banter about my work, I received a call.

Caller ID showed

Edhas Malhotra

He called me today for the first time. I picked up the call.

"Hello" I said, I waited for two minutes but there was no response. Did he hang up ?
