Danish:- "Movie dekhne ka program hai is weekend par, chaloge?" (Danish us din uske paas aaya hua tha.)
Salar:- "Haan chalunga." (Salar tayaar hogaya.)
Danish:- "Phir tum tayyar rehna, mai tumhe pick karlunga." (Danish ne program tay kiya.)
Danish program ke mutabiq usse lene aagaya tha. Woh kayi hafton ke baad kisi cinema me movie dekhne ke liye aaya tha aur uska khayal tha ke kam az kam us raat woh ek acchi tafreeh me kuch waqt guzar sakta hai, magar movie shuru hone ke 10 minute baad use wahan baithe baithe achanak shadeed qisam ki ghabrahat hone lagi. Samne screen par nazar aane wale kirdar usse kathputliyan nazar aane lage jinki harkaat aur aawazon ko woh samajhne se qasir tha. Woh kuch bhi kahe baghair bhot aahistagi ke saath uthkar bahar aaya. Woh parking me bhot der tak Danish ki gaadi ke bonnet par betha raha, phir ek taxi lekar apne appartment wapas aagaya.

Professor Robinson apna lecture shuru kar chuke the. Salar ne apne samne padhe paper par tareekh aur topic likha. Woh Economic Reaction ke hawale se baat kar rahe the. Salar hamesha ki tarah unpar nazrein jamaye hue tha, magar uska zehan gair hazir tha, aur yeah uske saath zindagi me pehli baar hua tha. Woh unhe dekhte hue kahi aur pohoch gaya tha. Kaha, woh yeah bhi nahi bata sakta tha. Ek image se dusri image, dusri se teesri... Ek scene se dusre, dusre se teesre... Ek awaaz se dusri, dusri se teesri... Uska safar kaha se shuru hua, kaha nahi...
Sandra:- "Salar, chalna nahi hai?" (Sandra ne uska kandha hilaya.)
Woh chonk gaya, class khali thi. Sirf Sandra uske paas baithi hui thi. Usne be-yaqeeni se khali class ko aur phir wall clock ko dekha, phir apni wrist watch ko.
Salar:- "Professor Robinson kaha gaye?" (Be-ikhtiyar uske muh se nikla.)
Sandra:- "Class khatam ho gayi, woh chale gaye." (Sandra ne kuch hairaan hote hue use dekha.)
Salar:- "Class khatam ho gayi?" (Use jaise yaqeen nahi aaya.)
Sandra:- "Haan!"
Salar ne be ikhtiyar apni aankhon ko masla, aur phir apni seat ki pusht se tek lagayi. Wahid cheez jo use Professor Robinson ke lecture me yaad thi, woh sirf topic tha. Uske baad woh nahi janta tha ke unhone kya kaha tha.
Sandra:- "Tum kuch upset ho?" (Sandra ne pucha.)
Salar:- "Nahi, kuch nahi, mai kuch der ke liye yaha akela baithna chahta hu."
Sandra:- "Okay." (Sandra ne use dekhte hue kaha aur apni cheezein utha kar bahar chali gayi.)
Wo apne seene par bazu bandhe samne nazar aane wale writing board ko dekhne laga. Aaj yeah teesri (3) class thi jisme uske saath yeah hua tha. Uska khayal tha university dobara join karne ke baad sab kuch mamool par aa jayega, woh depression ke us phase se bahar aa jayega jiska woh tab tak shikaar tha, magar aisa nahi hua. Woh university me bhi mukammal tor par us zehni inteshaar ka shikaar tha jisme woh itne dino se tha. Pehli baar uska dil padhai se bhi uchaat ho raha tha. Wahan har cheez use makhsoos lag rahi thi. Woh zindagi me pehli baar sahi ma'non me depression ka shikaar hua tha.
Studies , university, friends, clubs, parties, restaurants, seher aur tafreeh har cheez uske liye be ma'ni hokar reh gayi thi. Usne doston se milna yakdum chhod diya. Answer phone par aksar uska paigam hua karta ke woh ghar par nahi hai. Woh friends ke israr par unke saath kahi jaane ka programme bana leta tha aur phir ekdum jaane se inkaar kar deta. Chala bhi jaata to kisi bhi waqt bataaye bagair uthkar wapas aa jaata. Woh university me bhi yeahi kar raha tha. 1 din jaata, 2 din ghaib rehta. 1 period leta, agle 2 period chhod deta. Apne apartment me kabhi kabhar woh saara din bed par lete hue guzar deta, baaz dafa woh film dekhna shuru karta aur 1:30 - 2 ghante ke baad bhi uski samajh me yeah nahi aata ke woh kya kya kar raha hai. TV channels ghumaate hue woh usi kaifiyat ka shikaar rehta. Uski bhook khatam hogayi thi. Woh koi cheez khana shuru karta aur phir yakdum uska dil doob jaata. Woh usi tarah use chhod deta. Baaz dafa woh pura pura din kuch bhi nahi khaata. Sirf ek ke baad dusre coffee ke cup apne andar undelta rehta.
