Episode 4 - Something Old, Something New

The remaining dancers are in Studio A, watching Michelle and Eldon perform choreo to You Are The One, and following along. When Michelle and Eldon finish the choreo they turn around to face A-Troupe.

Eldon: And then at the end there'll be a freestyle section.

Michelle: Now, a video of the choreo has been emailed to all of you to help you practice. With that, get practicing! You have one hour!

Michelle and Eldon walk off to the side of the room and stand together, watching the auditionees practice.

Michelle: Eldon, I just have to go do something quickly, I'll be right back.

Eldon nods as Michelle walks into the hallway. When in the hallway she pulls out her phone and dials someone's phone number, it almost immediately goes to voicemail though.

Michelle: Hey Em, today we're having auditions and since you're in town I was wondering if you'd want to help out. Just call me back or text me. Bye.

Michelle hangs up her phone and puts it back in her pocket.

Michelle TH: We don't actually need Emily's help, but I really want to talk to her and this gives me an excuse. I just hope she responds.

The opening titles play.

Jett has her phone on a bench and is following along with the choreo when Ariana walks up to her.

Ariana: Hey Jett, you wanna work on the choreo together?

Jett stops dancing to talk to Ariana.

Jett: I would, but not today.

Ariana: Oh.

Ariana looks disappointed.

Jett: I just want to really focus on the dance, you know? And you'd be a distraction. Not in a bad way though.

Ariana: No, no I get it. It's fine. I'll just go rehearse somewhere else. See you at auditions.

Ariana walks away from Jett and glances through the room to see where else she can rehearse. She sees Olive and Adele on the other side of the room and walks towards them.

Ariana: Hey, is it fine if I come practice with you guys?

Olive: Of course! We're just working on the hip-hop bit.

Ariana TH: Okay now I really wish Jett let me work with her, she's way better at hip-hop then I'll ever be.

Ariana: What about the freestyle part? Do you guys have any ideas?

Adele: I have some ideas, but it's freestyle, we shouldn't focus on it as much. We need to get the actual choreo down

Ariana: You're right, we should just do that. We can figure out other stuff if we have extra time.

Olive: Yeah, now let's get working before we waste all our time talking!

The three of them start working on their routine.

Winnie is near the front of Studio A, rehearsing by herself.

Winnie TH: In the past I've auditioned for A-Troupe a lot, but since I'm B-Troupe's dance captain I think I might actually have a chance. And if not then I'll get to work for Absolute Dance again. It's a win either way.

Danielle is marking the routine on the other side of Studio A, next to Izzy. 

Izzy: Are you still planning on messing up?

Danielle: Of course, why else would I only be marking?

Izzy: You do you I guess.

Izzy TH: Whatever Danielle is doing should make me feel safe, but what she's doing isn't going to make anybody forget about what happened yesterday. I have to work my hardest. Nobody is safe from being kicked off A-Troupe.
